This is one of many things that are wrong with the BCS.

Then can you explain why you think Bama doesn't get 3/4 of the computers?

OSU is almost guaranteed to have the following 3 that is why:

Billingsley
Anderson and Hester
Colley Matrix

Not sure why you think Bama gets Massey, because it's also almost guaranteed that OSU gets it.

The only one in question is the Peter Wolfe computer.

Because Bama would need 4/6 of the computers.

OSU had 2/6 last week.

Have they released the Billingsly? Because I don't really see how OSU wouldnt pass Bama in that.

The whole Wolfe thing reminds me of the early returns for Gore in 2000.

So then its looking like OSU will get 4/6 computers and right around 1/3 of the harris poll. Hopefully that's enough.

If you go here:

LINK

Massey is the 10th rating from the left, and it shows OSU at 3. It looks like that's the updated rankings, because they are different than there:

LINK

and at the bottom of the page it says it was updated today.

it would take the 1/3rd+ harris to get past a non-unanimous #2 in the computers

It's not enough. If OSU only gets 4/6 computers then they need just over half of the Harris poll. If OSU gets 5/6 computers then 1/3 will be enough.

The Massey rating on that page uses margin of victory and preseason bias - it is not the rating used in the BCS formula.

billingsly isn't up yet but looking at the ranking it looks like OSU will jump Bama

bama is up 2 points on OSU in this computer, Bama on a bye week will get no bump in that computer ranking. But OSU who beat number 7 in that computer ranking will easily jump Bama.

I think

RIght.

With 4/6, OSU has to have 5 more points than Bama in the Harris.

With 5/6 OSU just needs to stay within or equal to 51 points behind Bama.

Aaron Suttles (Bama bias) just tweted
"Just got a message from someone I trust that said Harris Poll is in and that Alabama is in the BCS title game. We'll know for sure at 7."

Of course he did. Then if Bama gets in he can claim to be Nostradamus. What a fricking tool.

The page I linked is different from yours. I linked the actual scores from last week. They aren't updated yet.

What I linked is what is used in the BCS. What you linked is something different.

Kinda like what ELO_Chess is to Sagarin

The question is, will bama take them to court?
