This will work itself out, but Notre Dame and Oregon are ranked too high.

Just win, baby!

They are 24th in the Coaches Poll which was the only one that was posted when I made my comment. Clearly you just looked at the AP poll.

Good to see that all the hard offseason work was enough to put them into contention for an AP or Coaches title!

I don't really care about the polls, especially this early in the season, but I do enjoy looking at the AP poll grid view breakdown.

What I want to know is how this fella dropped LSU 4 spots from his week 1 ranking lol. Like what did LSU show in week 1 that made him think we're actually worse than his preseason #14 spot.

Full week 2 grid here.If you click on LSU, it highlights where we stand according to each pollster.

ETA: We also got 5 first place votes.

If LSU played Oregon, who would be predicted to win? LSU by double digits. Polls are stupid

Just win baby, the rankings will take care of themselves

ETA. It would be interesting to see what criteria these people use to make their selections

Way too low. If LSU would've been #3, it still might've been way too low.

No one in their right mind saw Week 1 action and thought LSU was the 8th best team.

LSU should be ranked no lower than # 3. Not since the Joe Burreaux era have I seen an LSU team so dominate as this one. Dang, the talent on that LSU team is incredible.

So you figur Bama yanking that chain around Sankey's neck,eh?

Lane Kiffin is right.......it's LSU against the world.

We have to give ultimate credence to our preconceived notions!!!
