Hard to say. I can't imagine Les and Crowton will want to go through a year like this again next year with Shep. However, it'll be tough to keep a kid that good off the field.

You got Shepard coming in thinking he will be a 3 or 4 year starter. This QB controversy should be great to watch:
Shepard, Jefferson, Lee, and even that MS QB. Do they stick with Lee for the next three years? Or do you think they will opt for Shepard?
I remember the last qb who came in thinking to be a four yr. starter. RP

Shepard will redshirt. JJ and Lee will compete for the starting job, and one will likely transfer since they are gonna be the same year. When they graduate, Shepard will start as a junior.
Yes, an absolutely baffling QB enigma. How will our coaches solve that puzzle?

pass from lee to lafell on the sideline looked like the first sure, confident throw by lee so far.........

What no props from the rant to Lee for the drive? Even with a dropped pass.

Bobbled reception, picked up, returned to the 18. Ron Brooks with the force out.

Doubtful Shepard stays off field as a frosh. Probably come in as a WR.

I'm not being negative, I just keeping it real. It's going to be hard for Shepard to come in here from HS and play with the SEC. It typically doesn't happen. There is just too much difference between HS to College. I don't even believe Pryor would have had as much success in the SEC. Just my opinion!

Well, RP wasn't exactly a team player and tried to steer other top recruits to the program like Sheppard is doing.
