Yes, but that was the first season in the new Box. Maybe the billboard wasn't up yet, but I know they had one in the old box. I think the first year was 1997, after the 96 championship.

I can't remember why Hanny got taken away from broadcasts. I loved hearing him. Blair is great as well, but Hanny had an edge to him that I liked.

Hanny quit when they hired Chris Blair because he wanted the full time pbp job. Hanny was a good stat and history wiz but he was never going to get the full time job. It’s not really comparable how much better Hanny was than Doug Thompson. Hanny was perfect in that color guy role who took over in the middle innings. Imagine DT calling pbp.

They didn’t put one up until LSU won that first year at the new Box. You can also see they had all the national championship flags out in center field like they did at the old Box which I loved. They moved the flags to out in front of the stadium which sucks in comparison. They also need to add back all the SEC team flags in left put in the current order of the SEC standings.
