I was going to get the Spicoli meme where he says “those guys are figs!” But I’m too lazy.

I don’t care if you like the General or not but he will get the basketball team competitive again.

I made no statement indicating that I disliked Will Wade. I only commented relative to the initial premise. If this down year is an indication of receding waters before a Tsunami, the recession in basketball has been more significant and has been going on since the dismissal of Wade; therefore, the size of the incoming Tsunami in basketball should be greater.

Let's just hope we're not the dumb tourist standing there marveling at the water receding completely oblivious to the incoming tsunami.

Or locals running out to gather fish.

One of the manifestations of a tsunami is that before the wall of water hits the beach, the water disappears from the beach.

This last year has been a withdrawal of our successes in football, basketball, and baseball.

Now comes the good part. The Lane Train, the General back in charge, and Jay is over his hiccup.

So have I. I got spoiled as a 12 yo by the 1958 Tigers. Then the 61 team was elite. Stovall was robbed and finished 2nd in the Heisman. I think because it was too soon after Cannon.

I expected it. But, not having it, made me value the feelings of good times.

Doesn’t the tsunami destroy everything in its wake? Let’s just hope it’s the opponents and not LSU that gets destroyed.
