The stats from the Bama game aren't even included in those stats yet so they will only drop

I couldn't find anything about red zone td rate. Would be interested to see how often we settle for fgs compared to other teams

I know it's unlikely to happen but I would love to hear a valid logical argument, based on solely offensive stats, as to why we should keep Ensminger as OC.

Dear God. Is this our worst overall offensive year in the past decade? Is it that bad? I knew we lacked in talent from prior years but the stats say there's more to it than just a talent deficiency.

It's bad. You can look at an individual stat and see where each OC we've had has done better than we thought. Maybe Cameron wasn't as terrible as we thought some years by some metrics, or maybe Canada was worse than we thought last year by some metrics. I think it's pretty clear LSU has lived and died by its running game for over a decade (save 13 with Mett). The numbers back that up pretty consistently especially in 15 and 16 when statistically, LSU was pretty strong by our standards.

And I think it's also pretty clear that this year with Ensminger, we are worse off in just about every major and more specific offensive rankings by pretty significant margins.

But the on

Rank the totality of defenses played each of those years. There are so many other variables involved

Because he’s one of us, and a great Tiger. Of course that has to be the #1 criteria for selecting the best offensive coordinator in the country we were promised. Never mind he hasn’t been in that role this century.

So in most categories Orgeron is worse than Miles.
And this offense is much worse than Canada’s.

Seems the HC is out of his element.

Not that much different though.

This year LSU has played 4 teams in the top 15 in scoring D.

In 2013 we played 4 teams in the top 15 in scoring D

In 2011 we played the #1 defense twice, 2 more in the top 20, and 5 in the top 25.

It's pretty easy to see and realize that a good LSU offense overcomes even tough schedules.

Not one of them had the schedule we have had this year.

Am I doing this correctly?

Great thread. It just proves that when you don’t run you multi million dollar business as such you wind up broke. Lack of hard work and determination at the top AD then HC in their hiring practices have landed us here. The AD needs to be fired strictly on lack of performance by his biggest hire.

If my offense is holding the ball for 70 plays, they're being productive.

If my offense is running up that kinda yardage in less plays, they're being productive

LSU has neither of those

This is a great thread.

Any way you look at it, this offense is a disaster.

Nice stats

I’d wonder where each offense ranked in points per game (minus defensive and special teams TDs)
