Meaningless drivel.
LSU fans should feel great. We won the NC last year. This year, we have the opportunity to win the rest of the games and go to a major bowl game, perhaps even play in the SECCG and get revenge against GA or FL.
Let's look at the rest of this year. If Miles gives Jefferson a chance to play, who knows how he will do? Also, isn't it possible Lee will learn from his mistakes and improve? Anyway, other than the pick 6s, the offensive performance this year has been good. On defense, Miles needs to send a strong message to the co-defensive coordinators -- more aggressive blitzing. He can't fire/demote these guys now in mid-season.
What I'm saying is, don't give up on this season. Lot of football left to play, lot to play for.
Next year --- pray that Miles hires a proven, aggressive def. coordinator. Look forward to a highly-rated incoming freshman class, including two highly-rated QBs.
The future is bright, and this season still holds promise. At 5-2, LSU is ranked 15th in the country. Not horrible for a post-NC hangover.
Chins up, lads!

I can't stand the guy, but the silliness of questioning his success at coaching shows the childishness of some fans
No. what's childish is your running your mouth about how fricking great Saban/Muschamp were
and not willing to give anybody else a decent chance.
And by decent chance, I mean more than 1/2 a season.

You're the one injecting that bullshite and getting upset - "fricking great" - when it's responding to with truth.
We've allowed 50 or more points in 3 of our last 10 games. Something we hadn't done once - not ONE time - in the last 10 years and only 3 other times in our SEC games history - ever.
Yet you're worried about me giving people a decent chance? What a joke you are.

I like Muschamp. I wish we had him. Texas is #1.
And this ESPN guy is saying what the fans were saying with their heads hung down walking out of the game Saturday night. "What happened to our defense?"

Be honest with the body of work now...Miles has also done some things no other LSU coach has ever done on the positive side...beating Bama, Fla. and Auburn in the same year....his 3 year record at LSU...just be fair with your argument. Saban's defenses for the most part put up good showings but Miles offenses have put up good showings also. 31-0 to Bama shows that our O was really struggling under Saban 51-20 to Fla. shows our d is struggling this year under Miles. You can pick a side to prove your point or give the big picture.

If we vote for Obama, then they will love us again.
Ummmm
9-3 season or Obama.
Which is worse.

When did I say fire Miles? I said shore up the defense now. It's the idiots on here saying nothing is wrong with the defense that started all this crap.

Glad to see he politely left Michigan, Wisconsin, and Tennessee off of his list. Excellent journalism skills there Mark! What a d-bag....

Take it to the Poli board, you numbskull. Not everyone accepts or covets your personal politics.

I told you guys a couple of weeks ago that our ranking is directly proportional to the number of Saban's players we have left. As these numbers continue to dwindle, so will our ranking. Miles is Larry Coker redux.

Even after losing great players such as All-America defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, tailback Jacob Hester and free safety Craig Steltz, LSU was supposed to be good enough to simply reload its lineup (as evidenced by its No. 7 ranking in the preseason Associated Press Top 25 poll).
So we are on the decline because voters overestimated us this year...yet any rational SEC fan knew LSU would have trouble with a freshman QB.

Miles is twice the coach that Coker or Saban is. Alabama can have Saban...I'll take coach Lesticles any day over Saban.

ESPN'S headquarters is in Las Vegas, that is where gameday is next week!!

We deserve to be on that list.
If we quit giving up 50+ pts maybe we will EARN our way off of that list.

LSU is on the decline because they ended the season at the top, and now they're struggling to beat SC and Auburn. And then there's the record setting 50 point losses.
If Ohio State had won last year and then given up 100, they'd be heading the list as well.
