Yes, Mexico City is a fertile recruiting ground, and LSU is looking to establish a pipeline there.

Volleyball team did this when they came here to NAU this semester.

They lost to NAU 3-0

There is a game on Week 1 over here in Ireland for the next 6 years. ND vs Navy next season. Then Indiana vs Nebradka in 21.

Gameday is coming over for the game next year.

If LSU could be organised for a subsequent year it would be incredible.

game counted as a home game and they forced all of the season ticket holders to buy (like the nfl) I wouldn’t be happy about it.

NFL doesn’t make the season ticket holders pay for the game if the home team is playing in London. They have an option to purchase the ticket but if they want to go they can opt for the 9 game ticket package.

I wouldn’t like giving up a home game to play overseas.

Or outside of US. What do you think? Is this a possibility? I think LSU did play a game once out of country correct me if I am wrong.

Why? What would this do for LSU?

Do we have a huge alumni base there? No
Do we have a huge recruiting base there? No
Are there a ton of wealthy alumni dying to see a game in that location? Hell no

This makes absolutely zero sense

Who want's to go to Mexico?

I've been many times and trust me, unless your going to one of their coastal destinations, it's like taking a tour of your local ghetto, only much worse.

Mexico Military Academy used to play Texas teams comparable to LATech back in the day. Just like Roger Staubach played for the Pensacola Naval base team against LaTech, McNeese, USL, etc... up to the late 60's

I hear there is a VERY big following there for American football - both NCAA & NFL. LINK

There is zero benefit from playing outside the country.
It’s a horrible idea and your title is trash.

Now we're talking some sense.

Soccer? I don’t see the women going there. Probably not too safe. If only we had a men’s soccer team.

Aleva probably would have moved our marquee games from Baton Rouge to Houston/Arlington to Mexico City, if given the opportunity.
