Yes, my mistake about NC State...The point still remains with original Tech and Miami.

If you want to see what ours will look like, with current Nike trends, just look at Ohio States (1st page) and substitute purple for red and gold for gray.

They got those Houndstooth jerseys a couple years back. "Cochon de Lait" is pretty clever but somewhat unflattering, especially since it's being marketed across the nation.

LSU will wear white jerseys, white pants, and gold helmets (not lsu gold, closer to saints gold).

What could Nike possibly have bought the team that already has EVERYTHING?

(besides HD replay equipment, of course)

I designed an Alabama uniform myself not too long ago...

I'm shocked none of my suggestions have been used.

I bet the d-bag himself Kellen Winslow Jr would like these uniforms. Seriously WTF??? This country is a war and Nike doesn't have enough sense to stay away from the whole "combat" theme. If this gets much publicity I wouldn't be one bit suprised if there is backlash from the general public about this.

I really hope that Nike Rep was lying and we have purple helmets. I have always thought LSU would look awesome with a purple helmet.

They are customizing these jerseys for the 10 team's rival games to show how (hs, juco, all college teams) can customize the jersey for that season's mantra/saying, etc. The geographic breadth of teams featured in this mini launch allows Nike to customize the jersey collars and assume enough fans in each area of country will get it. All product launch marketing and brand management stuff...

But based on the quote on collar of the LSU one, this jersey is a one game limited edition. Who knows about the rest of the uniform for the team next year...

But I want those gloves!

There's a possibility that LSU's jersey collar says something other than "Cochon de Lait" - and that is just the slogan on the T-shirts being rolled out for the release/game.

The same list that shows "Cochon de Lait" for LSU has "Good Guys Wear White" for Virginia Tech... but their jersey collars say "Beamer Ball" on them.
