That fact that you are trying to compare Jay Johnson to being as bad or worse than Ed Orgeron tells me that no one should take anything you say seriously. That is remarkably dumb.

WTF are you taking about? The only thing you can compare are SEC records. The football team doesn’t play half their games against shite non-conference bottom feeders.

The football team beat a MAC team that beat 0 P5 teams in the regular season, a 4-7 Southland team, the worst team in the Sunbelt, and lost to the only OOC P5 team they played, a mediocre UCLA.

quote:

A 6–15 SEC record, 15th in SEC out of 16 teams, is far far far worse than a football team that goes 3-5 in the SEC West.

It's not. There is a world of difference between the two sports.

Not to mention the baseball team being preseason #1 or #2 in the country.

Like A&M last year. LSU football was #16 in the preseason in 2021, #6 in 2020.

This like a blueblood football program like Ohio State or Alabama going 4-8. Guarantee if that happens in year 5 of a coaching regime that coach is getting fired

A year after winning his second NC in his first 4 years? Doubtful.

What if I told you that Bear Bryant went 6–5(2–4) and 6–5-1(3–4) in back-to-back seasons and coached another 12 years and 3 more national championships at Bama?

Your hero O was rightfully fired.

Are you suggesting Jay Johnson should be fired?

100%.

I don’t tolerate this shite. His overall SEC winning % is like 5th in the conference. I’m not fooled by his Eli Manning type runs. I want someone that is consistently in the top of the league every year at a program with the resources of LSU.

We don’t need a Lemonis situation. When the feels fall off they aren’t magically gonna go back on

Miss State had Will Clark & Rafael Palmeiro then, “Thunder & Lightning”, & Coach Ron Polk. Was one heck of a team…
also Jeff Brantley and Bobby thigpen. All that mlb talent yet didn’t win the CWS. Yet this board tells us that anyone can win with MLB talent and Jay Johnson is an average coach.

lol Lemonis won with Cannizzaro players before NIL and the portal, Jay has a title without “Paul guys” not even the same situation.

again name a coach. There’s only 2 coaches with multiple titles and he’s one of them.

Ugh Lemonis fell off in Year 4, and this is Year 5 under JJ so not much difference.

Year 1- 52-15 (20-10) CWS
Year 2- 12-4
Year 3- 50-18 (20-10) CWS Champs
Year 4- 26-30 (9-21)
Year 5- 27-26 (9-21)
Year 6- 40-23 (17-13)
Year 7- 25-19 (7-14) Fired

Year 4 same excuses on Miss State boards as we are hearing right now for JJ.

Well, I guess your only real option is to move on to another team, then.

5th in a conference of 16 teams. How awful.

Ok, this makes more sense now. You're an overly emotional woman who is not ruled by logic.

His overall national titles is like 1st in the conference.

Last year I bet you weren't fooled by his "Ed Orgeron" type runs, and then he won a second title and you had to compare him to someone who has 2 instead of 1.

The wheels "fell off" 2 years ago and then were back on the following year.

You have the emotional stability of a 6 year old.

You think a college football coach would get fired after winning 2 NCs in 5 years for going 4-8 in year 5?

holy shite you are retarded

This is why you are unimportant and don't get paid to make any decisions that matter.

Go ahead and find a single example of that happening in any sport at any level above high school.

While it sucks and this team is BAD.... Moo St has one natty in their programs history. We'll damn, I guess that makes the sweep worse.
