And we got absolutely disrespected in the comments. Not that it isn't deserved but the panel basically agreed we're at our peak for the season and patronizingly said we should be excited about our season (which we should be).

I mean they are right. A lot of teams behind us have legitimate chances to make playoffs while we would just need chaos. We are kind of just there.

Yea. I’m not sure what the point of all that was. I don’t get why they don’t think we deserve respect with the way we’ve navigated this schedule.

Don't agree with them at all. So what happens when Georgia loses to Bama, Oklahoma loses to West Virginia, Washington state loses to Washington, Michigan loses to Ohio State. It's ridiculous to say we can't move up at all.

It's because LSU doesn't provide the drama that other teams do at this point. LSU is basically a passive participant. It isn't a terrible spot to be in, but these guys want things to talk about. LSU doesn't provide that right now.

i meant why we didnt move.. and honestly being 7 doesnt mean we are good. outside of Bama and Clemson no team this year is really any good. a lot of average football teams

I agree with this. I also agree we aren’t good enough to compete in the playoffs this year, but the comments were a little over the top. I understand that they want the 1-loss teams ahead of us to make for better tv commentary though.
