I feel like this horse has been beat to death…. Not that you’re wrong.

In my opinion we start 1-0, because I’m an LSU fan and if I can’t blindly hope for win, then I don’t want to do this anymore. End of story.

Depth counts from day one. How you think not having fresh bodies at wr/dl/de wont be an advantage?

LSU has better depth than Clemson but not better starters overall. Depth doesn't really matter in game 1 as much as you think it does unless you sustain a lot of injuries. It will help LSU later in the season though.

If the game is close, Depth will show in the fourth quarter.

I can't think of a single game where I went in thinking LSU had no shot. Even the 2022 SEC championship game vs UGA, I felt like if things aligned perfectly we could have won. Hell I even thought we had a shot in those 2020-2021 games when our team was terrible.

You think Clemson is loaded with scrubs behind their starters? You're in for a rude awakening. They also hit the portal for the first time this year. This is Clemson's year and Dabo finally wised up to hit the portal to solidify his top end heavy team. On paper they're better than LSU right now. If LSU played anyone else game 1 it probably wouldn't be much of a debate.

Clemson's own writers and fans are worried about their depth. The reports have been good to great starters, a lot to be desired behind them.

They signed a handful of guys. They finished ranked #45 with their portal class.

Only real question is can the O-line perform above average.

REALLY? That's the only real question? What about their ginormous advantage when it comes to the guy wearing the headset?

Clemson matches up better against LSU especially their DL against a new OL breaking in which can't seem to find their interior yet

Clemson has more top end heavy talent than LSU does they're loaded with talent with first 2 round projections right now

Their team is more experienced than LSU and have played together for years

4th quarter depth will only matter in a highly physical game where you can run the ball. We don't really know how this is going to go but it's not like Clemson lacks depth LSU is just more talented here.

Fla.St Won 11 games that 1st year .Norvell had 4 very good recruiting classes headed into that game.BK inherited a roster with 45 scholarship players in Dec. with hardly any depth on either line. You tell me what was wrong.A lot of geniuses on these boards.

Would BK be held accountable.
The answer is no. He isn't getting fired after this season. The record won't matter. If we're being honest, we "hope" we make the playoffs. If not, we'll be waiting until next season. Just like every season.

Hypothetically if we lose. Then what? Would BK be held accountable. Let’s say we win 9 games total.

They also had the #1 transfer portal class the following offseason & would have been in the CFP if not for the catastrophic injury to Jordan Travis.
