I said the same thing a player on the team told me he was doing well

Most tiger fans have shitty judgement
We all do remember that the defense will be yet again a top 15 overall unit....is claimed by Aranda himself to be the most complete version he's had yet at LSU and boasts multiple All SEC and more than that multiple All American caliber players at every level....Many of which will be drafted....and at least two of which in Devin White and Greedy Williams are about as sure fire possible first round picks as could be....But somehow they were not supposed to do what they will do and make an opposing offense look bad... Especially one that is literally having to not only install an entire new system but has to find a starter at every skill position...But yeh....tell me again about how because the offense struggled means that we will suck all year....
The defense will make every single opponent we play look like a shell of themselves...The fact that the brand new offense without a true starter at any position but a few o line spots was made to look inferior compared to what might be the best overall defense in the SEC and what will be a top 10 unit nationally is about as part for the course as it could possibly be....If the offense came out and was in any way dominating against our defense then we'd have much more serious problems...

It is. Until it's time to write the check for season tickets. Then reality sets in.

They looked damn good? All three looked poor. Brennan had a couple good drives but also had a couple horrible ones. Narcisse’s accuracy is not there but moves in the pocket well. JM is clearly the number 1 right now but he’s missed several throws.
YES THEY DID LOOK GOOD! for a Spring game. They need to look better for November. But they have time. Progress was made. At this point JMAC is better than at any point Ettling was last year. That is progress in itself. All mistakes made are very correctible.

For the record my expectation is 9-3 or 8-4 and that is only because of not having a returning starter at QB and the schedule. But the schedule needs to account for variable change. How about if some of our SEC opponents are as improved this year as some may think? Defense, assuming good health, will be stout.

The fact that you felt the need to call last years third string quarterback JMAC is disturbing itself.

Who cares if he was third string last year? This is this year. He has improved and learned a lot from seeing the game from the sidelines. It is his time. Brennan btw still has time to win the job. Excellent environment for competition. And yes JMAC is a cool name. And you know, since it disturbs you that I use it I will make sure I will use it as often as I can. With your opinion it would be my pleasure to cause any discomfort possible

Yeah that's true in some regard but all haven't won back to back 6A State Championships in Texas!!!

How awesome would it be right now if we still had the kid from Zachary that I (and a lot of ppl) said would be starting for us if given a fair shake. I miss him.... we screwed up bad letting him walk.

Remember this guy couldn't beat out Harris or Etling.

Yes, because no one is better in year 3 than they are in year one or two.

Yep, if the passing game would have produced 500 yards the fans..
wait, it did..
These people are legitimately retarded. THis is probably the second best defense these players will face this year and they still moved the football...and the retards are complaining...

Yes, because no one is better in year 3 than they are in year one or two.
With very rare exception, either a guy is an SEC QB, or he's not, and that's evident from the beginning.

I was just commenting on your stated philosophical approach, with which I happen to disagree. You're the one who claiming how liberating it is accepting lowered expectations, so if anyone is suggesting we lower the bar, it's you. Project much?
Believing what I observe is my philosophical approach. That's a sad way to go through life?

To be fair, how well would they have moved the football and how many of the good plays would not have happened if the defense was allowed to go full speed after the QB.
Let’s not act like the D was really going all out against the QBs.

McMillen could get the starting job and be 12-0 going into the SEC championship game and this board would still be bitching about how he shouldn’t be starting. If he proves to be the best QB come September then so be it, regardless of anything else.
Do I wish Narcisse would turn into a monster, or that Brennon is the next coming? Of course. But we are seeing about as fair of a QB compitition that we’ve seen in a while. Each QB rotated 1st and 2nd string yesterday and McMillen played better with both teams.
Can’t wait to see how we progress leading up to Miami
