Beth Torina is Alleva's greatest bumble in a sea full of them. Best coach on campus.

I think we also have the #1 strength of schedule. Kudos to her because I saw that schedule and thought she was crazy with a new pitching staff.

Especially considering that this team was Preseason #6 in the SEC, this is impressive. Yet, we have to show up against Kentucky who has seemed to have our number the last few years. Winning this series or getting a sweep would be huge.

Seriously dude? That's all you think of when opening this thread?

LSU fans are the weirdest group of people ever. If cavemen were all LSU fans we would not exist right now.

Yeah...they had those nasty left handed pitchers that LSU couldn't hit, and when they'd play in Kentucky it was cold or something. Team just doesn't do well up in the cold.

I always associate how lucky LSU was to get Torina when she continually excels and succeeds. She's better than Murphy and Aly Habetz who Joe begged to take the job to avoid further embarrassment.

The weird, paranoid, single minded people that post on this board.

A thread is started about how well the softball team is doing. A simpleton with a one-track mind replies and brings up the athletic director. That's all.

The players and coaches deserve all of the credit. They don't deserve for morons to detract in any way from what they have accomplished.

The thread wasn't "under Alleva's leadership the softball team has" or "in spite of Alleva the softball team has".

This is a thread recognizing what the players and coaches of the softball team have accomplished so far.

I just think it is strange that someone's first thought after reading the OP is about the LSU AD.

If anyone knows softball and how to be a great fan while not trying to steal the show it is Armondo Sanchez.

Have to guve credit to the pitching staff for the record LSU has. Gorsuch shut MSU down for 2 innings even went through their best 4 hitters to finish the game.

Don't care about LSU softball unless they are making money for the sports program. Girls sports are losers normally. No fans. No money.

Softball draws more people than any other sport except football, men's basketball, baseball, and gymnastics... you're just a negative nancy
