Rightfully so, that is the standard, even Beth knows that
LSU was the 2 seed in the regional. The chances of getting past ASU was not very high but going 0-2 against the 3 and 4 seed is another level of bad. Getting beat by a top 8 team while disappointing you can possibly live with. LSU was so bad that they never even played ASU is the bigger issue to me.

This is dumb. There are plenty of mothers that successfully coach in college sports. Plenty. So cut this bullshite out and critique her for what is happening on the field and not something that you know nothing about.
The fact of the matter is that Beth and her staff need to maximize the potential of the talent they recruit. It’s that simple.

Torina is the pitching coach, and the pitching is terrible. Maybe a new direction is needed with pitching recruiting and coaching.

I doubt he was one of Beth’s distractions, at least not in a major way.
But tell you what, Google “LSU softball.” Among the default “Questions Also Asked,” reflecting trending searches, is: “Who’s the loud mouthed guy behind home plate?”
Now 18handicap can correct me if I misquoted him, but he’s a softball coach in Texas. He’s had multiple Texas softball coaches text him “how is that guy behind home plate every game?” He aggravates them too. These are the people in some excellent Texas programs that steer their blue chip recruits to the P5 programs they like.
18H also said a D1 recruit told him that the guy turned her off to considering LSU.
Are these major things? Probably not. I hope not. But it’s not helping the situation that nationally, the guy is the “face” of the LSU softball program.
I agree with you. It makes us a laughingstock.

Our AD needs to handle him and do it NOW!!!! He is not a fan, he is a self absorbed narcissist and its all about camera time for him!!! Plz handle this Scott!!

Recruting is not our problem at LSU, its our delovpment, This was the year our offense showed fight, it was the year our pitching sucked,

Is LSU paying her as a top notch softball coach?? Yes. Has motherhood affected the program, her coaching and trajectory of the program?? OBVIOUSLY so yeah it was a horrible statement?????? No it wasn’t it’s the truth you just can’t deal with the obvious.

Yeah I don't its cool using Beth being a mom to attack her. There are plenty of parents (dads and moms) who are successful HC's who have a balance. Beth 's husband Nick is always with the kids but she also has a giant support staff with her parents helping out all the time so that isn't it.
Now if you want to criticize Beth and the staff for the overall performance this year and things related to softball. I think its 100% fair game and appropriate.
I would venture to say some things have gotten stale and change is needed. There comes a time in every sport where the game changes and what you did before no longer works or is as effective.
