Beth's new last name has been changed to Milestorina.

You don't get swept in a home SR and stay safe.

Don't be stubborn and defiant.

Fix what needs to be fixed (Hitting Coach) or gtfo......

I wonder when the spring head coaches have their end-of-the-year assessment meeting with the AD.

I know Skip would ask several questions:

Is there anything holding the program back?

What do you need to compete for SEC titles?

Are your facilities conducive to winning titles?

Do you have the personnel, coaches and players to win
titles?

What one thing can I do to put your program over the top?

I would be interested to see how Coach Torina would answer these questions? Skip appreciated an honest assessment from his coaches, as I am sure the new AD will. Skip would also have an assessment done from a person outside the program to match up to the coaches.

Transparency between the AD and the coach is critical to the success of any program. Should be an interesting 30 days. I believe her contract is expeiring ar the end of this month.

Kilponen is at the threshold of being elite. Where she ended this season from when she got to LSU is impressive.
She was a kid that is said to have very, very little true pitching instruction prior to LSU.
She kept an overall poor hitting team in every game she pitched this year.

I think by the time Kilponen was done with her freshman year it was clear she’d emerge as the starter. I think most of us who watch Lsu softball are most confortable with Kilponen and Sunseri pitching. Hoping Wickersham regains accuracy and adds lateral movement to her pitches.

The Lady Tigers need to develop into more consistent hitters. You need base runners and need to score runs to win games. Plus eliminate the errors and mental miscues and then you'll be able to compete at that "Elite Level" we'd all like to see them do,

Not really surprised if true. Neither got any real playing time. I am sure there will be more to follow. Losing a year of eligibility sitting on the bench has to be frustrating.

The reduction in roster size for the coming season will be interesting to follow. I do not know if the NCAA has come up with a hard number post-pandemic.

With 5 seniors departing and several new recruits coming in, something will have to been done.

Yes that us going to be interesting... what they do with the roster.

When Lotief was at ULL (Louisiana) they had a large number of players that were either dressed out or were at least on the team, but without uniforms.

Someone said Abrams can really hit, i know Anna Jones is a good athlete and i betcha those two will go somewhere in the SEC and do well.

They gotta do a better job at talent evaluation.

I wonder how bad they were in practice or off the field activity, because it seems to me they were not given any opportunities in games to see it they could produce. Anyway, if they are indeed leaving, the fallout has begun

Agree. Also, just because you fall in love with HS or Travel Ball player, doesn't mean you have to stay in love with them when they get to college and don't produce enough to the extent that is costs you wins

While true you have kids like Sunseri and Stewart who hit well over .300 and kick arse but regressed

Those are very talented players

Better talent evaluation....

I think it was 2018 a new player arrived, a catcher... i saw her promo on Youtube and thoughr “thar batting approach wont work.” She played a few games but i dont think she batted but once or twice.

Someone here on TD made the comment, in light of the fact that her throwdown to second base was really soft, “she isnt SEC caliber “. It is the truth and there are players on the roster now that should be at Mcneese or Nichols state.

WCWS begins today and all we can do is watch. LSU girls should really be upset that they are not playing today. What a sour ending to the season for them... had to watch 2 other schools celebrate championships at Tiger Park. That can never happen again
