Why would she leave? She has top notch facilities, paid well, and family is here. Is about to sign a top 3 class with multiple top tier pitchers this fall.
I get we all aren't happy about how the season ended and think changes are needed to get better but she isn't leaving anytime soon IMO. Only job I think she would maybe take is the Florida job but that isn't gonna open up anytime soon.

Hey, if the Georgia AD is doing his due diligence, I think he makes a call to Torina’s agent and I’m sure Beth will listen.
Though I doubt Georgia is interested enough to go all out and make the offer necessary to get Torina to leave LSU.
I think Fico might be at least a fallback candidate.

Good for Lou to retire from Georgia on her own terms. Georgia administration was going to make a change, so happy coach hunting.
Lots of coaches available with the highest coaching turnover in 10 plus years. COVID prolonged a lot of jobs at least for a couple of years.
The hot four names (Ok St. , VT, Duke, and JMU) will not fill all the coaching vacancies. So I would think some other head coaches and assistants will be moving around. Short window for any coaches with expiring contacts on June 30th.
So far Lou and sounds like Candrea at Arizona , and Dean at Auburn of the major programs. Who will be the next let go or hired. Should be an interesting June.
Reports 50-70 players have entered the transfer portal since the regular season ended.

They juiced the numbers on the radar gun for TV. All the pitchers are throwing 70.

I don't know about that SaintsFan. I don't recall Sunseri breaking 70 and Kilponen maybe once in awhile. Maybe Tigerbait 357 can let us know if we are bringing in any Pitchers who throw in the 70's.

There a ton of D1 Softball coaching openings this year. If you can not find a job you are not looking hard enough IMO
Several hitting coaches are changing the sport. Waiting to make a decision until after the best coaches are locked down is risky. Unless you are waiting to rebuild next year.

I would think an SEC head coaching job in softball would be more prestigous than one, say, in Sunbelt. Georgia will probably pay well for Lu's replacement. They have a great batting coach.
