Very pleased with the ranking. Most teams with 2 loses would not be that high, but the SEC rules the top 10. It's a brutal conference fellas.

Well, we lost Mo & HB before the season started. We have a freshman qb. Key injuries and constant O Line shuffling. Lets face it, that wasn't kansas JUCO football being served last night in TS. I guess his light turned on, but there's always a learning curve. And in this conference, that can be a hairpin curve, especially at qb. The Bama game was gonna go either way this yr. Based on what I had seen up until last night, I thought we'd lose. Don't get me wrong, that was top 5 for worst LSU losses for me, but damn proud of their effort. We can finish 10-2 in the toughest division In the toughest conf in cfb. We have a great shot at a BCS bowl. Recruiting looks great on paper. We have really good young talent. Lets face it- BAMA & LSU are the class of the SEC and going nowhere anytime soon. We'll be right back here next November. (On the winning end) Things could be worse. Last night could've been better. But it's history. Lets win out and get into the best bowl we can. GEAUX TIGERS!

I think Mett has a lot of confidence coming off of such a quality performance but loving lsu aside a 2 loss team should not be in the top 5.

BS! Only one thing should decide it - which teams, in the opinion of the voters, are the best. Simple, isn't it?

If we were 0 - 8, but the voters thought we were the best, then we should be ranked #1. Get it?

I can't understand why BAMA didn't drop to 2nd after we exposed them to be not nearly as tough as they pretended and talked about they could beat NFL team. I am proud of the TIGERS, and know our coach caused this MULLIGAN. I think LSU
earned respect across the country and most were pulling for LSU to win. Glad we got shown some respect even for our loss. The experts know why LSU isn't winning CHampionships. Not for lack of talent.

Bama only dropped 1 last year. We should be 6, but still not horrible. Hope for lots of losses and upsets.

UGA and fla ahead of lsu doesn't bode we'll as far as a BCS at large. UGA gets the sugar and Bama will play for BCS assuming they don't slip up.
My thought is cotton or cap 1 if they don't lose anymore.

With such a biased fan base fr every team that way of voting would just be determined by which team has more fans... We deserve the spot we have. the computers are very gracious for what they have given a 2 loss team.

We should be higher, but that 2nd loss kills us. we would slaughter Florida if we played them next week.

Like it.

The loss still left us in a position where we can still maybe make an automatic at-large.

I would assume Bama beats UGA
I would assume that ND, K-State, or Oregon will lose a game.
Hope for FSU to beat Florida and we could be at #4 and would be an automatic qualifier for the Sugar (assuming we take care of business).

11-2 is not what anyone wanted for this year. (nega-tigers or sunshine pumpers) However, 11-2 is a good season and will set us up in a high ranking to start next year, which helps. We have some great players on the team that wont' be with us next year and I hope they finish strong and get a chance to play in the BCS and leave on a win.

Did you not watch UF this past week?

How about the week before they couldn't even get 200 yards of offense.. South Carolina just imploded massively..

I definitely see FSU (yes everybody's FSU) giving Florida heck.

It shows the great respect that the pollsters have for LSU. I'm disappointed by the loss, but we can still have a great year.
