WV can't stop the run. Miss State poses a bigger threat. Should dominate like i said they don't match up at all.

Listen obviously I would not meet the standards of a LSU fan but if I was one I would be worried about how we were going to score? Also I would take a look at how many times a holgorsen coached offense scored less then 20 pts. Granted he has never played a defense as good as LSU but I wouldn't consider the Big12 to be cupcakes either.IF WVU could some how win the turnover battle I wouldn't be so sure we could score the points on offense to make it up. Atleast thats how I would look at it if I was a LSU fan but what do I know im just a redkneck hillbilly with a dream.

We create threads like this to pump ourselves up and break our opponents down.
The hardest thing about this game will be the travel and the thoughts of last year.
However, I think we can overcome this and control the game with the run and create turnovers and third and longs all night.

Holgorsens offense at OSU had better athlets than WVU and they actually had a pulse of a running game. WVU will not score 20 offense points

Stats won't tell me why LSU will win.

Their defenses pretty much were cupcakes

we can never EVER overlook anyone. way too easy for kids to lose focus and we end up with a miami of ohio moment like we had in 1986. it is very very hard to stay focused week after week after week and not read your press clippings. that killed us in 2003 against UF. games are not won on paper.

The fact alone that you guys have to create threads like this proves you have some concerns about this game. I would assume there wasn't any LSU should easily dominate Northwestern State threads a couple of weeks ago.
lol what. You guys are ranked Northwestern is ranked 348
We are still gonna kick your asses

Perhaps, that is because all of us know a bit about Northwestern State (LOUISIANA) University. However, many of us know little about West "By Gawd" Virginia University.
Therefore, a thread giving some info about WVU is more relevant than one about NSU.
Just because I may look at a map to house to which I have never been does NOT mean I am more afraid to drive there than to my brother's house. I just know the route for one and not the other.

LSU wins so big that the polls will have no choice than to put us at the top.

Don't be overconfident. We should win but we have to survive the initial emotional onslaught that WVU will bring. Pound em tigahs....

Unless Jarret Lee reverts to his pick 6 ways, this game will not be close. LSU big.

You are nuts if you think this is going to be a cake walk. This is their whole season. They lose this game they are done. We get their best game.

You my friend get it. I guess if you had to compare this to a game for LSU it would be like the SEC championship. Usually it means win and your in the National Championship game. Im sure most of you would agree that if we some how pull off a miracle and win then we would stand a good shot at running the table. So even though its only week 4 this is our biggest game of the regular season. Although im sure most WVU fans will still be cautious after what happened with PITT in 2007
But there is no doubt if we win it puts us in the drivers seat to make a run at a National Championship...

Historically, WVU being in the driver's seat for the National Championship has proven to be a huge plus for LSU. Thanks again.

You know the same things were said last year and if not for a kick return TD we would have whipped your arse.

yea so you owe us one
Whats ironic is that if I remember correctly you guys were in the drivers seat a week before we played PITT and lost to Arkansas I believe. At that time we were so thankful of LSU.
