Repeat after me:

HE WILL NOT CHANGE!

HE WILL NOT ADAPT!

YOU WILL SEE THE SAME CRAP IF HE STAYS ANOTHER YEAR!

The "fans" who have been yelling to fire Miles should be ashamed.

Les Miles = GOAT coach of LSU

Les should be ashamed at wasting the talent at his disposal to the tune of 2-3 losses every year.

2005: 2
2006: 2
2007: 2
2008: 5
2009: 4
2010: 2
2011: 1
2012: 3
2013: 3
2014: 5
2015: 3...

32

1 loss a way in 2015 from being a 3 loss per year coach on average.

People keep saying this. If he hasn't done it why do you think he will now? And if by chance he does do it and the offense thrives with an efficient passing game, it'll show that he's just been stubborn all this time. And he'll be doing it only to save his job and not because it gives LSU the best chance to win.

You have BR radio and ESPN confused with the SID at LSU.

Hanigriff pointed out today one reason Jimbo bolted for FSU was Miles always interfering with play calling. He also felt like miles was holding JaMarcus back. He brought up the tale of during the Bama game in 2006. Apparently is was a red zone play and Jimbo called a pass play Miles over ruled him for a run. Jimbo said frick it and ran his play anyway. We scored.

LSU should be ashamed of the the way they handled this whole Miles situation. Totally classless.
All they've done is say "no comment". So you think they should lie and either confirm or deny the rumors, when they haven't made a decision on what they're going to do?

Miles won't relinquish control and has been given enough opportunities to do so. So he's being shown the door. The leak was put out to soften the blow when he is canned after next week

This and if you ask me the powers that be have been plenty patient over the years in allowing him chances to get it fixed yet it remains an issue to this day. I don't think he last near this long at other places. Offense is not just bad it is horrid and sloppy at best.

So you all just think ESPN pulled "Miles is getting fired" out of thin air. The rumor didn't start at ESPN or any other media...it started at LSU.

In reply to those asking what LSU has done ... wasn't it the AD office that leaked the rumblings to was it Rabalais of the Advocate??? That was wrong.

What the hell has LSU done? Are you confusing people posting shite on a message board with the actual institution? What has TAF done? Where did you see them calling out Miles publicly or saying anything publicly or for that matter what has the athletic department even done or said. Be specific. Let's hear it. What have you got? Name names of who said what, or did what. We've lost 3 in a row in blow outs, looked totally unprepared, digressed from 8-0 in 2011 to 4-4 last year and 4-3 this year. The defense is awful, the special teams have been awful, the offense non existence since WWII or 2007 and a team that commits so many penalties that discipline is not even in site. So what has LSU done to be ashamed of itself except to allow a steady trend downward to mediocrity. What other program has had to replace a head coach at a power 5 conference where the headcoach didn't just resign ie Urban Meyer that has done anything different than what is going on now? People like you post crap to try to make yourself look holier than thou. These coaches get paid millions. This is big business and about performance and money. The revenue that comes in from LSU Football supports more programs around this school than you probably can imagine. It can't afford to have a fanbase so dissolutioned that they stop filling up the stadium. I bet you didn't criticize Miles when he left OSU who thought he wasn't going anywhere. Did you criticize LSU for taking him from OSU? STFU

I don't know that I agree that LSU was "unprofessional" in the handling of this as it is near impossible for a high profile SEC program to completely ignore an obvious issue with this team. But I total believe that ESPN or any of the other media outlets locally and nationally could have been more excluded from the situation and provided updates with one voice representing all involved and that all dealings were truly handled in private until decisions made one way or another. All of the "leaked" info from so-called sources and the need for everyone to make a story and be first to break whatever news may have come out of all this was chicken S@#$ on the part of everyone involved. Its fair to have an opinion about anything related to LSU as alumni and fans. But its totally out of line in this age of social media and fast paced media to destroy the image and reputation of your own program all to prove that your are in control which is something that should go without saying or doing. 95% of us are not CEOs and have no idea what it takes to run a success program at this level. I love this school and program and state for all the ups and downs, but I frown upon any negativity that comes from a place of speculation and self servicing ideology! The fact that LSU did nothing to contain or manage its own business position in a more tactful way is truly disturbing and flat out irresponsible, and that goes for local media types in BR as well. The media and our competitors should not get the pleasure of being party to our set-backs whether favorable opinions or not. Right now, the Gump train and all those associated with that program are driving media and anyone else who wants sound bites to continue to force this conversation. So this isn't about what Les did or didn't do anymore. Its about how we let our frustrations corner us and blind us into turning our drama into a 3 ring circus that is going to get worse before it gets better. The fallout from all of this will be about how LSU treated its best coach ever and not about how LSU made a coaching change to help this program!

A team lacking discipline, with players never improving skills outside of God given ability. He totally lacks motivation to change his ancient ways of coaching offense = bye bye Les !!

The the way les miles handles the offense is Offensive. Don't blame LSU !! He has been given many years to improve, and because of stubbornness and being fat on the hog = a lack of drive .. has been les miles's weakness as well...

As far as anyone knows, LSU has done nothing other than the one BOS guy who spoke to the press which I thought was inappropriate. He's only one guy, so he can't do squat by himself. I hope it blows up in his face.

There are no proofs of leaks or from where any may have come if they exist. There's a lot of speculation and assuming going on, though.

LSU has officially said "no comment." All of the teeth gnashing about how it should be handled is due to reporters anting more info than they are being provided so they go off on their own with supposition and giving credence to rumors. Funneling the info through one source is all well and good, except that there was no definitive info to give.

I like Les Miles a lot, but as has been said numerous times, this is a business and he has been paid millions upon millions of dollars while at LSU and who knows what all the perks consist of. He's had multiple opportunities to change things and the results have been temporary or non-existent. "Yea, but this time tell him we really mean it and no excuses." bullshite!

I agree that most rational fans, ironically those calling for his ouster now, expected at least a couple of losses this season because of youth and refusal to believe that things would dramatically change over night. Rather than hard fought battles in conference play where the team came up a bit short, we've seen three straight games that show the team going in the wrong direction. AGAIN.

No, I like Les, but if LSU has anything to be ashamed of its for not giving the ultimatum sooner and for the contract that currently exists.
