WHY...in gods name, would ANYONE support such a mismanaged organization ? If the relegation concept, were ever embraced in US sports, the Astros would now be a AA team....LOL

Would not pay to see the Astros this year...management doesn't give a shite, so why should the fans? You put out an inferior product, and expect fans to show up? Crazy...

Went to my first baseball game Thursday night. It was long overdue. Proud to say I contributed.

there is a strange phenomenon going on in american sports right now. people are paying for tickets but not going. every game i go to and every game i watch on tv, regardless of the sport or school, has lower attendance than a few years ago. i was really surprised last season to see several high profile fb games with two ranked teams with thousands of empty seats at schools that have had exceptional attendance in the past.

it wasn't that long ago that there would be multiple weekend series with almost no empty seats. fans at the games are more apathetic now too.

i guess what i don't understand is if you spend alot of money on a home theater or nice tv, why keep buying the tickets to games you're not going to attend?

I am done with the astros.

Lifelong fan, but they aren't a local team in louisiana and the product they put on the field the last few years is deplorable.

Withdrawing my fan card.

Check my avatar, you think I am hurting over this Astros fiasco?

I fricking hate what that organization has done to my team. Sure, we have a great farm club being built but meanwhile, we are the Cleveland Indians from Major League...BEFORE they started winning.

How do you know the Astros are mismanaged?
If they are making money, they are not mismanaged.

And don't say wins and losses. It's not about that, it's either about making money or using the organization for tax purposes.

So you have the chance to buy (and resell) tickets to the games you would attend?

In baseball terms, that would be called mismanaged.
