Rooting for individual players hurts other players' feelings and reflects hate. I also disagree with calling a player's number for a penalty.

The MLB position has been held by a veteran for a while now. I think Welter is not the best athletically, but I bet he is the smartest out there as there is a lot on the MlB shoulders during every game. I think the coaches trust him more. That said...It looks like if it doesn't get better, Barrow will fill that spot. Once again..a veteran.

That's accountability for the officials. Nothing more.

my favorite, miles was minimally involved with the offense during the scrimmage. The plays were coming from the press box. Complete opposite of what they've done in scrimmages years past.
I just got wet.

When 52 was in he wasn't in the middle for what it's worth. He was Sam. This team has linebackers for days.

They hardly ran 4,33, and 27 out of the backfield today too, and only up the middle which was always stuffed by ego and freak et al.

This team is good. Will contend.

I just saw welter get blown up one too many times today, I'm not sure what he's doing to hold that job down.

I really don't think he will... he'll start the first game and that's about it if I had to guess..

Well then how did Magee look? You're saying he got the most reps right?

Or did they sling it THAT much?

My biggest concern at this point is injuries. Any reported? (know Rasco was held out and Dural is gimpy)

At this juncture no need to fret about Welter/MLB. Probably a lot like '11 (Hatcher started but was soon overtaken by Minter). We have players at LB and IMO, John Chavis may be the all-time best LB position coach in CFB history. He's that good.

not too soon. We still had Hatcher out there tackling LSU defenders all the way through the first Bama game in november

Remember Hatcher setting a pick on a teammate in 2010 against Arkansas that let them take a long play to the house just before the half.

Welter is not good. Look at Clemson. He was completely exposed.
