My pops was there. Could tell by the tone of his voice that he was more excited about this scrimmage than any in the last few years. Didn't get to talk to him long, but a few highlights:
- mett looked confident, showed pocket awareness, threaded needles and threw a nice deep ball.
- Jennings was impressive, mobile and very accurate 20 yds or less
- Defense is physical and FAST. Young DB's made some plays.
- He could only think of maybe 2 or 3 drops the entire scrimmage , and said Leslie went up and high pointed some balls for nice catches. Threw to TE's a bunch.
- my favorite, miles was minimally involved with the offense during the scrimmage. The plays were coming from the press box. Complete opposite of what they've done in scrimmages years past.

200 rush, 250 pass, Miles says. #LSU
Miles: Mettenberger 18-for-25 or thereabouts.
Miles: Welter is having very strong fall camp. Linebackers in general are playing well. #LSU
Les Miles said Terrance Magee was the lead rusher in today's #LSU scrimmage
Miles: asked about Hill, notes Magee leading rusher, mentioned Blue. Said Hill had "a couple of plays" but not "specifically spectacular."
Coach Miles on Jeryl Brazil: We’re using him in a number of ways, but first is as a corner and second is as a returner.
Miles: DeSean Smith had a couple of nice catches. Dural was nicked and limited. #LSU
Miles on who stood out on defense: Danielle Hunter knocked down a couple passes and created havoc on the offense at times.
Miles: mentioned Hunter and Allen among the ends. Rasco held out. #LSU
Delahoussaye 4-for-4 on field goals. #LSU
Miles: Mettenberger threw 4 TDs. Two each to Beckham and Landry. #LSU

I haven't read every page on here. I was at the scrimmage. Welter did play well he was very good against the run. Ego and freak reeked havoc against both twos and the few plays against the ones. Gilmore looked good too,Coverage was excellent by both units. Jalen Mills particularly strong. Beck with never even took a snap with the twos while I was there. Offensively we went 4 wide hurry up with Blue in backfield for the best drive of the day. Two big completions to a dbl covered Landry were the highlights .we also ran well out of this formation which needs to happen. Out of the basic two back formation all of the good runs were to the left side. Overall offense was very sluggish lots of pre snap penalties and something I hate (a bunch of walking around ). Brazil looked like a freshman with skates on ,he was #1 punt returner though with Odell single return on kickoffs. Long ways to go.....

I know the scrimmage that the jobbers attend is on Saturday. I will be attending and usually the gridiron club is at that one every year as well. Not sure if the gridiron club is going to today's scrimmage.

LEE and I are waiting by mike's cage having some brews.
Smoke laval is singing "I'm forever your girl" from atop the admin building.
Xavier whipple and JC holt are throwing water balloons at unsuspecting facilities workers.
S, Carson, redneck, mikey, and zealot just showed up and are selling snow globes as souvenirs.
Stay tuned for updates

'twas a sarcastic post. They put that on their club website. You can donate thousands of dollars, but can't talk about stuff? Get real

They should have some fun with that...create a couple secret rituals, be like their own little version of Skull & Bones or the Stonecutters.
