No.

In 2019 LSU was stronger defensively than now, and yet it still took 46 points to win. I think this year 46 will keep LSU in.the.game.

41... I have been thinking all week anything over 40 and we somehow get to 45 near our average, then our defense comes to life due to momentum, and we hold them to 28-31 range.

45-31, 45-28

The otherside of that coin is bama will shite the bed and we win.

Can anyone see "Bama" shitting the bed at "Bama" ....has anyone ever seen it? It will be a rough meltdown for people here in denial.

Yes, I actually can see that, and that is not my hubris speaking. This is one of the most beatable Saban-coached Alabama teams I’ve seen since he’s been there. Alabama will want to play clock management, run the ball, and out-physical LSU in a 28-21 or 24-17 type of game rather than putting the game in Milroe’s hands despite our defensive backfield not being up to the LSU standard. On the other hand, LSU needs to get a couple of stops on defense and offensively needs to come out swinging a la Blitzkrieg-esque and make Bama have to beat you in a shootout with Milroe.

No i feel they have to score over 35, Alabama can easily hang 30-35 on our defense.

This one is not. After an early ugly loss to Texas, Bama has improved each week, and QB Jason Milroe has been sharp as a tack lately in pinpointing his receivers.

That Bama defense has an answer for JD, mark my words. In spite of his inspired play this year, he's no Joe Burrow.

depends...tell me what the 3rd and 4th down conversion rates are for each team

Not just that. Tell me how many FG’s are forced in the red zone instead of touchdowns, and I’ll tell you the winner.

If we force them to kick a FG 3 out of 5 trips to the red zone, and LSU wins.

No, our young backs will get exploited just like they were earlier in the season. LSU will have to score at least 40-45 points to win this game.

I think we need to score 38 or more to win. With that we still need a couple turnovers and no special teams blunders.

Milroe is a MUCH worse thrower of the football than any of those three. We will sit back and play soft zone and he'll go for under 200 yards.
We do that, He’ll kill us with his feet. And about the passing yards, please be on here Sunday.

Our run d is almost as bad as our secondary. Even frigging army ran the ball successfully against us. If I had any faith that we could stop the run and just be mediocre in the secondary I would feel much better about the outcome. Afraid this one will get ugly. Pray that I am wrong.
