There’s one thing that the NCAA likes above everything else, including RPI.

That one thing is money, so look at it from that angle and things will be crystal clear for you.

LSU is a top 8 seed lock, speculating about it at this point is a complete waste of time for everyone.

Hope that helps

Does a 7/8 seed make you think it was a discussion?

No, because LSU won’t be the 7/8 seed.

I could see the 5, MAYBE 6 but I doubt it’s that low. 5 is pretty reasonable.

I will eat a shirt on a live stream broadcast if lsu is not a top 8 seed when the committee makes their selections on Monday. If anyone is so sure we won’t be a top 8 seed and is willing to do a 1:1 bet please post your email. I will send you my Venmo. I’m a data analyst by trade for 10+ years and I love making smart money bets.

LSU is a 100% lock for a top 8 seed. We were after the USC series but only dumbasses would debate we’re not after winning a game in Hoover. If youre dumb enough to throw away money reply to this post

It’s crazy that every person who ranks baseball thinks we are a great team but our fans still think we aren’t

And they refuse to listen. I hope their concern makes them miserable.

We watch MUCH more LSU baseball than most of those who rank baseball.

My guess is that no one on here thinks there are any GREAT teams this year. LSU is in that mix of 8 - 12 teams good enough to win it all.

Fun. Geaux Tigahs!

I think we'll be around 5 to 7 range.

Hammer meet nail. There are several here who watch all of college baseball and can understand this, but the majority here are football fans who bring that football season mentality to baseball and can’t wrap their head around the “that’s baseball” aspect of the sport.

Just look at the finals from 23’. Game 1, hell of a game by both teams. Game 2, Tigers get the doors blown off. Tigers couldn’t do a fricking thing. Game 3, the exact opposite.

Every good team hits patches and every good team bounces back.

That’s a valid point

They look at numbers and results while we watch each at bat

So we had to win the Tournament or no Super host? Didn’t hear that going into the week.

No. But if you want to listen to some of the idiots here, go ahead. We had a top 8 seed locked up when they stepped on the bus to leave Columbia.

Because it wasn’t the case to anyone but the idiots here.

And to your point, it’s hard to believe Jay would have shuffled the pitching rotation as he did if we needed the Saturday game too.

We’ll see on Monday. They likely will get the seed, but you’re burying your head if you think a 12 RPI isn’t a concern.

Still a concern?

It’s crystal clear that LSU was solidly locked into the Top 8 the whole time, as the majority here has been saying since the series win over USC and the win over A&M.

Some of you try so fricking hard to be the guy who called it first when it comes to anything negative.
