Probably not. If O state beats 8 and 13, Penn state and Michigan, we will have beaten 2 and 4 plus three more top 10s even though Texas has crashed. Still #1.

Probably not. O state will have beaten #8 and 13. LSU will have beaten 2 and 4 if they win out plus 3 other top 10 at the time they played even though Texas has crashed. That's 5 wins over top 10, O state with 2.

I don’t think it’s just a given that Oregon beats Utah. The teams and the game will be closer than the experts think. Utah has a bit better defense, Oregon a bit better offense. But both are close imo.

Regardless of who wins that game, as long as both keep winning until then (which appears likely) then either would jump Bama. I wouldn’t mind seeing Utah get in for some more fresh blood along with LSU

I think it'll be close as to which team ends up #1.

Ohio State may have wins over -

11-2 Minnesota
10-2 Penn State
9-3 Michigan
9-3 Wisconsin
10-3 or 11-2 Cincinnati
7-5 Indiana

LSU's possible resume

11-2 Georgia
11-1 Alabama
10-2 Florida
8-4 Auburn
7-5 Texas
7-5 A&M

Both resumes would be strong and both teams would be deserving of the #1 ranking.

It may come down to - how impressive are we against Georgia. Do we win 38-31? Or do we win 45-27

LSU versus Utah in the Peach Bowl would be like a home game for us. That would be fantastic!

Interesting way to debate my statement. Low IQ ad hominem attacks.
But you’re not alone. This board is full of idiots like you.

We need to put an arse WHOPPING on Arkansas like 65-3, where Burrow plays about 2.5 quarters and we are up 40-3, then Brennan comes in and puts 3 more TD on the board running the offense.

Then, Defense needs to come in focused to play hard (Very Hard) to get ready for Georgia and the playoffs. This is a perfect time to practice for that, even if we rest Delpit and whoever needs to heal up.

Not really "surprising", but everyone and their grandmother have been trying to get LSU out of that top spot 5 minutes after they beat Alabama.

Ohio St faces Penn St and Michigan the next two weeks so I would be surprised if they don't jump us. It really doesn't matter as all I care about is winning out and beating Ga and we'll be in a semifinal game.

They won’t unless they beat the crap of them.

I love the way you choose the win/loss record versus their ranking at the time they played. So let me ask? If a team is undefeated, such as UCF was last year, who plays no one then think if your team beats UCF should your team count that as a big win? LSU has beaten 4 Top 10 teams this season. Some of those teams have fallen out of their ranking probably bc they can't over come their LSU beat down!

Nothing can compare LSU's success because no team in the nation has placed on their schedule the consistent tough teams LSU had played in 2019. Don't forget the tougher the team you play the more injuries by the end of the season. AL & Clemson should not be in the top 5!

I mean. Take care of biz in the SECCG. That drops UGA. Committee rewards SOS and puts Oregon in over Bama. Their D can’t stop us and we move on to the championship. I like how this plays out.

For those that don’t think Tigers get in without a SECCG victory. That game against Georgia is a quarter final playoff game
