Hey! trouble follows trouble. maybe if he was in his apt. or dorm ,instead of being in a place that is known for its trouble, he would not be in this mess.
Yeah, he was in a parking lot of Fred's and Reggies. Yeah, I know there are a shite ton of fights that break out, but those usually result from shite that starts in the bar itself and spills out to the parking lot. He wasn't going out to look for trouble

st did some research and his 6 month jail sentence was suspended. Suspended meaning if he screws up, the 6 months will come back. Not trying to be a ahole but I just wanted to put the facts out there.
it COULD possibly come back

I don't think that anyone is denying that fights happen, esp in tigerland. I think the point some are trying to make is that if you may be worth millions in a year or two, you should keep away from places where problems are known to occur.

Charges will be dropped. Lsu mafia is already involved.

none of them do , yet it always seems to find them.
they are all innocent. just happened to be standing around and a fight just happened to breakout where he is standing.

Gordy said this shite happens everywhere and during every previous era.
Cell phone/Camera/Video has brought it to light in today's world.

Minding your own business and getting called a n***a twice to your face from out of the blue seems to be the very definition of trouble finding you.

That's not the point, you don't become an innocent bystander when someone calls you a n**** repeatedly. Again, I'm not black so I have no idea how I would react to that, but damn dude. I really don't care what the law says

Bama plant paid by the REC to start shite with our stud players and get them suspended.

Yes, by all means, let's not use the visual evidence that proves eye witness testimonies!
This may be the dumbest thing I've seen posted about an investigation in my life! Hold on a second while I call teh feds and tell them not to base their opinions of guilt because the bombers are on tape!

Yeah, I agree. But I'm pretty sure he wasn't thinking of his future when some racist was telling him to basically "go frick off n***". I've already said that he shoulda walked away from this situation, but shite happens.

Again if you know you are on probation, WALK AWAY!
or how about you don't hang in a parking lot, where there is a potential for trouble.
How about staying home. drinking with buddies where you know there won't be trouble.

I'm surprised that article released the victims name.

I'm pretty sure he has heard it before from another white guy. Especially in Louisiana. He probably chose to act on it so he didn't look like a puss.

Dude, I said that it doesn't show the whole picture. And you are misinterpreting what I said, I said don't let it be a crutch, as in don't rely your whole investigation on it. There are other factors at play in this scenario, and it would be stupid to focus everything on the video.

yup and the person who recorded it.
I found the part of hill's denial also interesting, but then his attorney confirmed it was him.

In the report, Crouch says the video clearly shows Baldridge get up off the ground and walk away from the two suspects. Hill then punched Baldridge behind the left ear and Baldridge was then punched again by the second suspect, Crouch said in the report. Hill and the second man can be seen in the video giving each other high fives and flaunting in front of Baldridge, the report says. The video operator can be heard saying "Jeremy Hill punching people." With assistance from LSU campus police, Crouch located Hill near his residence at the West Campus Apartments and arrested him. Hill admitted he had been in Tigerland but was not involved in the fight. Hill continued to deny his participation in the incident even after being shown the video. Hill has not been formally charged. His attorney, Marci Blaize, did not return calls to NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune, but she told the Advocate in an email that, "Obviously, Jeremy was there as the video indicates. However, there is most likely more to the story than what is contained in a 30-second video." Blaize's email said she was still gathering information.

Actually you should be using the only evidence there is...the video.

Thanks for the summary!
Not that this has any bearing on anything, but I've seen a number of interviews with the kid and he just really doesn't strike me as the type to instigate a fight like that. And yeah, I knew about the prior charge. But anyone saying Hill should be not going to bars his entire 3-4 years as a star football player is a retard or had no friends in college. Get real.
Surprised we haven't heard more.
Well that's not good lol. But I'm sure at the very least it was a little out of context. Maybe the other dude swung first and the camera didn't come out until Hill swung back.
Didn't we gather something very similar about the guy JJ allegedly kicked 2 years ago? If there are character witnesses that will testify as to his affinity for starting fights, coupled with witnesses for him dropping the N-word, it could go a long way for Hill's defense.
