Did he kick anyone on the ground in the face? If JJ doesnt get death penalty, I dont see how Hill does.

Not that I'm some super sleuth or anything I've just heard video is damning

The video might be pretty damning, but it doesn't paint the full picture. If we had a video from start to finish that would be different

I'm not attacking you in any sense, I just don't want to use the video as a crutch in the investigation

It's not too late to give JJ the death penalty. The game of football would thank us.

Right now that video is the only evidence besides witness corroboration. I would think Reggies or Freds would have a better angle of the fight anyway right?

My college aged son tells me that there are more than a few who show up between 1-2 am at Reggies' parking lot just to see the fights that occur almost every nite. These are bar fights & they happen all the time at practically every bar in the LSU area. Understandably so that Hill gets all the attention because he's a football player. Add the fact that he's already on probation & he comes across as not being bright. But it was a bar fight, which means he's not this totally incorrigable POS thug. As I doubt he's had this problem before...we'd have seen the headlines in The Advocate....it's safe to say he's not a habitual POS. The "victim", on the other hands, seems to have the reputation for doing just what he supposedly did that nite.

If the video proves him guilty then he is finished. The kicker here is not the crime itself, but the violation of his probation. If he violated his probation, you can bet he will spend some time in jail.

But as a future professional player, wouldn't you do every thing to protect your future($$$$)? Even if it means staying home while you are on probation? This goes back to the "Well everyone was doing it" argument

Not even after years and years of lawsuits for fights? I would think their lawyers would have them install one. I'm sure there is Freds or reggies worker on here somewhere

Doubt it, he's charged with a misdemeanor while on probation for a misdemeanor.

don't put yourself in a place where you could possibly be exposed to this kind of activity.
he obviously was not just an innocent bystander .

Hey! trouble follows trouble. maybe if he was in his apt. or dorm ,instead of being in a place that is known for its trouble, he would not be in this mess.

There really hasn't been anything new come to life. BRPD still has custody of the video

The account that jimi said in the previous thread is that the "victim" came out to the bar, bumped into JHill and his group, and said, "get outta my way n****", and JHill's group responded with, "what did you say?", and the "victim" responded to that with, "you heard me n****".

Now, here is where it gets a little hazy, we don't know what happened. It has been said that JHill punched him in the face after this, it has been said that the victim bowed up to JHill, it has been said that the victim punched at JHill. Who really knows, I wasn't there and it doesn't seem like anyone here was there.

During the fight, some dude pulled out his phone and started recording showing JHill punch the dude and the others beating the shite out of him.

From what has been gathered, the "victim" is a habitual drunk boxer that loves to start shite. This time he got what was coming to him.

The real kicker is that JHill is under probation from a past charge.

Nothing more has been brought to life though

I just did some research and his 6 month jail sentence was suspended. Suspended meaning if he screws up, the 6 months will come back. Not trying to be a ahole but I just wanted to put the facts out there.
