Amen.

LSU doesn’t trick folks very well. That and being the worst wildcat running team in history are a couple hallmarks.

this point, LG needs to be a Curne vs Echols battle. The other 2 both have starting experience and still can't lock the job down. it seems clear that they aren't the answer.

I saw Chester knocked flat on his arse enough last year to know that he damn sure isn’t the answer.

run game will be the huge question mark this year and if the oline can block well enough to establish it

the defense sounds like the best going all the way back to 2019, the DB's gonna be salty and LSU should get way more pressure this season from the dline

if LSU can establish the run this will be a playoff lock

biggest concern with opener is that it will be on the road with a new Oline trying to get it's footing, otherwise I like their chances

Burrell getting snaps at punting is unreal. We’re a joke.

Kaleb Jackson housed a long TD run today it looks like, according to LSU Football Twitter. Jackson hasn’t got it going yet at LSU, but this is good news. With the Lindsey news some fans were worried about RB. Durham and Berry are as talented as anybody, and if Jackson can become a bruiser, we have pretty much every RB type on roster. JJ, if necessary, and even Zavion Thomas in a package setting. I’m not worried about RB at all, and it’s good to see Kaleb Jackson with a big burst today.

Had a source tell me that BK chewed Sloan's arse today in front of everyone. Basically sick of JS getting too cute on goal line with Jujuan Johnson and sweeps with Zavion Thomas. " Lets try to run the fricking ball before we try to trick everyone!" - BK

I dont know, but I didnt have him on my radar. Nice to have bodies to plug in, hoping one is a gamer.

He came into the bowl game as a little used true freshman and looked pretty damn good in reserve snaps.

Still think we should have hired a real OC. I’m afraid Kelly is laying the groundwork to make Sloan the scapegoat if we don’t make the Playoff

Sloan lacked creativity overall last year. And we sucked in the red zone. We called vanilla runs in the red zone and got blasted. So we need some creativity, but it can't be extremely obvious that an RB is going to get the ball in the wildcat and just run.

Even our pass plays in the red zone were lacking last year. Sloan needs to improve in the red zone. It was his first year as OC for LSU though and our offense seemed to improve down the stretch, so there is hope.

Sloan is not qualified for this position! I’ll keep saying it. His play calling lost us multiple games last year and he still can’t design an average running scheme, even with Atkins being hired specifically to help him out. The panic meter to me is about a 7/10 for this run game. I personally think BK needs to get involved again cuz Sloan is clearly not ready for this job still.

I like the back and forth between the DBs and WR. We were terrible defensively against the pass most of last year

I don’t think it’s as sinister as that. I think it’s Kelly’s offense regardless of OC so he doesn’t feel like he needs a seasoned OC. To me that means it’s on Kelley regardless of OC.

I know you think youre the expert on all things kicking ,but the punter we brought in has reportedly been very good. it doesn't hurt to let Burrell try to punt and see what hes capable of ,in case our starter and backup both get hurt, which does happen occasionally.

go watch your kid ride the bench at florida

You get what you put up with as a coach. Sloan is starting to concern me.

You can’t say we need to be more physical and run the ball this year and then by action show a lack of trust in your team in fall camp.

what makes you think hes not trying to run the ball? because he ran a couple wildcat snaps in red zone that didn't work?

that makes no sense

This season has more of a 2011 feel to it. Minus the QB question on offense. This year it's the O-line. But defense travels so let's see.

Having different guys step up on both sides of the ball each day is the sign of a damn good team. Not sunshine pumping, I know it’s practice. But this team is showing those tendencies so far.

Burrell is the only hope that a walk-on kicker, who is maybe in the top 100 in the country, doesn’t beat out our 4 year scholarship guy back to back. Ramos beat out Dibert. Corbello will compete with Burrell in the spring.

Should be practicing kicking instead of punting.
