Who are your top players who should of been red-shirted who only got in a few plays their true freshman year?

For this year, I think Spencer Ware should of been red-shirted.

Spencer Ware's role is increasing every week. I don't see any need to redshirt him.

I Think Ford should have. He has hardly gotten any carries this year due to our deep chart but I believe he is going to be a beast for years to come.

Ware is also pretty good at special teams, now not in the Ron Brooks, Ryan Baker level, but he gets the job done.

People might not agree with me, but I think Reuben Randle should of last year with the depth of receivers. Im all for keeping players for a few productive years instead of using them seldomly because of depth.

I think he was trying to be funny. Well I hope he was at least.

PP should have been red-shirted in 2008 so he would be here for next year. Shepard should have RS his first year looking at the snaps he got from 2009.

He could still leave even if he had redshirted.

You know PP would still leave regardless of being redshirted in 2008 right? It's 3 years from high school, not 3 years of playing.

I see Ware making major contributions before the year is over. He makes plays when he's in the game - catching, blocking, and one good run. He looks like he belongs out there, looks like he's been in a D1 system for a couple of years.

Do you see Ridley getting hurt? He's getting the lion's share of the carries barring injury. Ford has looked good on all of his carries as well. Throw in Hill and Hilliard next year...dammit man LSU will have the best backfield in the nation.

Two that aren't as noticeable, but Kadron Boone and James Wright both needed one

You have Toliver, Randle, and Shep at wide-out. I know Peterson and Tolliver have been hurt, but I still would have lined up Ware out there before I burnt a red-shirt on either Boone or Wright. I think Boone will be a great receiver, but it just sucks that he's losing this year by only get a couple passes his way and some punt coverage duties

I think LSU will be fortunate if Randle is here for four years, let alone five.

This thread has been full of fail. We're stacked in the backfield this year and next. Thin at receiver besides the freshmen. The only person who I can think of is maybe vinson.

Ware gives us a check off coming out of the fb position. boone and wright will be needed next year and are getting valuable experience

I think Les is gunshy about red shirting our freshmen running backs because of all of the injuries we had at that position last year. We almost ran out of RB´s. So he has been playing most of them and getting them at least somewhat ready for the 2nd half of the season if injuries happen like last year.
