Why would we not? He fricked up his first big hire. Massively. The house of cards is built on him not doing that.
you dont even know who he is going to replace him with & you're calling it a failure
how many coaches you bitched about Les Miles keeping around? i can think of a few Big J. Now all of a sudden its a failure to cut bait with guys that dont fit huh

If you can’t see how changing OCs after year 1 is a red flag then you just don’t get it. It doesn’t really matter whether you liked Canada or not, it’s a red flag ok
A red flag for Canada maybe.

The red flags for Canada were already there and documented. Makes you why he was hired in the first place

If you predict it, then it's guaranteed to be the opposite
You're going to be so pissed when enos gets he job

Holy shite, Lester. How is it not a failure? We’re going to be paying another guy not to coach. frick, I feel like I’m taking crazy pills with some of you.

Are people actually blaming fans for hiring Ed Orgeron? I didn't know they got a vote.

I would take Enos all day. Most of the experts and future HoFers on here are anti-pro style. Trouble is, they generally associate “pro style” with Miles offense.

Canada wants out. He isn't getting fired

Because there were red flags with O.

Yup, he'd fit well with Brennan

Always fire where there's smoke.
Guys have been on here for weeks saying it would happen.

It's funny how Canada offense was blasted all year and now people are panicked.
I don't think anyone is panicking, or is panicking anymore than having O at the helm. His first big hire was a failure. One of these things is true:
1) Canada's offense was never a good fit here, not with O's "plans" not with Aranda's defense. Or not good at all. Which means O is a bad judge of coaching talent
2) Canada himself was never a fit here psychologically, emotionally, or was never managed correctly as part of a team. Which makes O a bad judge of character/personality/fit
In either case, the whole point is that this football program has put its hopes on someone to "not coach" and to hire the best coaches and let them coach and he fails that very mark in year 1, regardless of the results. There is 0 chance O can create a coaching carousel and manage that effectively.
I would love to see someone argue that a rotating carousel of coaches, with someone like O at the helm, is a good thing and has a shot at a national title.
People who don't like the O hire, already saw this, so it isn't panick, but partial confirmation.

His Canada hire was the failure Les. It was his first big one and he botched it.
