Yesterday I attended "travel" games at the Met in Hoover Alabama (where the SEC championship is played). These are very serious kids, most of whom will receive scholarship offers from Division I schools. There were dozens of scouts there from most major programs in the south.

I talked to a friend whose son has recently committed to Auburn He told me his son was recruited by Maneiri but declined their offer because of the pitching situation. He said he remembered watching Hess in the summer league a few years back and how dominate he was. Fast forward to this year watching the same pitcher - he described his delivery as "a lot of extra motion", basically indicating that LSU's pitching coaches have sucked.

Agree 100%.

BTW my nephew is a 15 year old shortstop/pitcher out of Pennsylvania who is being looked at by several SEC schools, including LSU, and has already been offered by Auburn. I told him to go to Vanderbilt. I love the Tigers but frick Maneiri.

Time for Paul to go.

We literally had 3 pitchers price themselves out of early rounds/decline offers to come to LSU last season alone (Henry, Hill, Marceaux). FOH

Good luck to Kaydyn in his college search.

So some high school dad you don’t know from Adam is a valid and reliable source on pitcher development?
I would love to advise you on your investment portfolio.

I actually noticed this too. He has this little hitch thing he does in his windup that seems to affect his pitches. He didn't do this before this year, or at least I can't remember it.

not that i know it all! but these comments! go to vandy!
yes that would be great - outstanding school! they offer you a 25% scholly! lsu offers the same! it cost u 50% less out of pocket or more, to go to LSU because you do not qualify for aid at vandy!
yes i want to go to lsu, but they offered 25% scholly & auburn offers 50%. so rather than tell the truth u lie!
kentucky has a top round pick every year for the pass several & they did not even make it to hoover this year!
lsu does not give 100 % , because they are trying to build a team & also we have the TOPS program for instate.

Wrong. He's an honors student. Besides, his father is quite wealthy so $ is not a problem.

btw at age 15 he throws 86 mph.
