The defense is the identity of the team and WHY they have won 16 game this year. You don’t change that.

Execute better on offense. Move the ball. Finish at the rim. Don’t turn it over 16+ times per game. Make 75% of your FTs. That’s how LSU can improve. Not changing the one thing that is great.

The fouls aren’t significantly increased from the last 4 years (about 3 more per game). And teams aren’t even taking advantage of them (Ole Miss notwithstanding). Opponents are shooting the second lowest FT% in the nation vs LSU.

Change the offensive approach…not the defense

Alt, i saw you post those number earlier with fouls per game. Not sure if its easy for you to just post those in sec games vs for the season as a whole. Feel like the foul problem wasnt an issue until sec play

All that matters is who is officiating. That will decide the game.

While I agree - we have to get back to that defense that created that identity. 68 at TCU and 72 against Ole Miss should have won each of those games comfortably. We've played much better defense against much better teams and without Pinson.

Well LSU was a double digit favorite vs Ole Miss at the PMAC. Did you see that disaster?

There are about 20 schools that give a blank about college baseball, and 21 of those schools (looking at vandy) only care about it because they can't compete in the TWO MAJOR SPORTS.

The overwhelming majority of LSU fans would take a single natty in football or men's hoops over 10 Natty's in baseball.

Statistically speaking, NO ONE GIVES A FLYING FLUCK ABOUT COLLEGE BASEBALL.

You can get your panties all in a twist about this, but it doesn't change reality.

What they meant to say is the team appears to still be coached by Johnny Jones

Wasn't this said at TCU then against Ole Miss. I guess eventually someone will be right in saying that.

We have no depth. Until Everyone is healthy we'll keep losing. We might make tourney as a 9-10 seed at this rate.

on my offshore account it is 2.5 right now. I can't imagine there would be a 1.5 pt spread between yours and mine.

I'm fine with just changing defenses throughout the game, just to confuse the offense. Keep them guessing. If it results in a couple extra stops per game, that could make the difference.

Running the exact same O and D the entire game is lazy. Mix things up, if for nothing else, to keep the opponent guessing and off-balance.

Sounds like your panties are the ones in a twist sir.

Also, college baseball > than college basketball.
