message from LSU about Texas game:

"at Texas
This game will be played in Austin, Tex.
LSU allotment is 3,000 tickets with all seating in upper level. All requests are welcome (maximum 4), but we expect the LSU ticket allotment to be exhausted by Priority Ranking 300 if not earlier.
Ticket price - $150"

UT has gone from giving visitors 6,000 tix to 3,800 to 3,000

Are they gonna cop out coming for a return in Baton Rouge? If not then give them 100.

Shocker. They don’t let their own students in the lower deck. Still 3k LSU fans in one place can do a lot of damage. Drink up baws.

Being that it is in Austin it will be 3,000 die hards stoned and drunk. Should make a dent.

Still gonna smash the secondary market. Austin will be purple and gold.

That is an incredibly low number - their schedule typically does not bring in large travelling fan bases. Maybe Texas Tech, that's about it...

Yeah they don't know what they are dealing with.

I would assume Woodward would return the favor, in spades, to TX next year...i.e. 3000 seats stretched across the upper decks ! The 3000 or so seats in the lower South East EZ {normally set aside for visitors]...will prob. lead to a real ticket scramble, next year. Likely a $175+ single game 'offer' to the season ticket holders ?

Yep. With RRS in Dallas, all the other Texas schools being tiny, and Stillwater being far away they never deal with any sort of strong visiting crowd.

Hope they’re ready.

No problem with what Texas gives us.

I only ask that we reciprocate and give them exactly what they give us on the return trip.

If they give LSU 3000 in the upper corner in Austin, We better give them exactly 3000 all in the upper corner in TigerStadium.

This is how it should be. It's only fair that LSU returns the favor in kind when it comes to the number of visitor seats and their locations. Put all 3K Texas visitor seats in the East upper deck and sell the lower bowl seats usually given to visitors, to Tiger fans.

I feel a lot more confident about it now that we have Woodward. Alleva probably would've given Texas all 7K visitor seats in the lower bowl.

With Alleva I doubt that would’ve happened but with our new AD, I’m hopeful he pays them back.

And he should have been at A&M long enough to have built up a high disdain for UT.

I have an air bnb booked but I’m not planning on going to the game. Going to tailgate on campus then go watch at a bar

Anybody have any knowledge of what sections they put visitors in upper deck?
