one more thing, people may not realize how big being in the top 4 in the SEC may help our chances.

If we were the 6 seed and aTm was the 3 or 4 seed than I think we would have to be worried, but because we are in the top 4 of the SEC it really helps our chances.

The fact that LSU is the 4 seed means absolutely nothing. Look at the NCAA daily sheets (i.e what the committee looks at when making their selections) there is nothing whatsoever indicating where a team finished in the conference.

I wouldn't stake a cracker jack toy on the NCAA tourney selection committee.
Your whole contention is that you don't trust anything, let alone have an opinion? Okay then.

LSU is IN. DONE.
TAMU is OUT. NOT DONE.
Murray St is OUT. DONE.

You're welcome.

Anyone have stats on the number of teams that typically make the tourney with 10 or more losses each year?

Agreed, tulsa is the 2 seed in their conference but are on the bubble while Cincy is a lock. I don't really like that rule but whatever.

SMU was screwed coming out of the AAC last year and it looks like its Tulsa's turn this year. Sucks for them because they are a good team.

SMU was screwed big time and I agree, Tulsa is a good enough team to make it, shite with a 14-4 AAC record.

So we go from safely in to bubble overnight? Small conference tourney surprises dropping tigers?

ESPN doesn't get to decide. They can only speculate.

Looks like Iona is gonna lose. Their RPI is around 48. Do they steal a spot as an at large?

Probably not, definitely not in front of us. Their non-conference schedule was nothing special and the best win was against Wake Forest, who sucks.

Beat Kentucky and they have nothing to talk about. They pick on another school.

I dont see it either. Their RPI will be over 50 now. Stephen FAustin is the only other buster I see.

Very little.... Especially when it concerns people.

My opinion is that the NCAA always let's in too many undeserving small teams that have played no one regardless of whether they are a conference champion or not. If LSU gets left out (which I don't think will happen) I guarantee there will be at least 10-15, if not more, teams in that deserve it less than this team. It is also my opinion that this team has 0 killer instinct and is led by players and coaches that are too passive so even when we do get in I'm not sure how well we fare. Although winning the Ark game was a damn good sign on that front.

ESPN is a business. They want people to watch their product. SEC tournament is on the ESPN Networks. More people will watch LSU vs TBD if they think LSU needs to win. So they get Lunardi to put LSU on the bubble, when in reality they probably aren't close to the bubble.

MAAC was a 1 bid league

Iona's RPI is now 53 (Season over) and they have 0 wins against RPI Top 100 teams...way out.

Looks like no bubble busters today.

BYU is taking it to Portland early and that would shut out the WCC.
