A football spread 14 days out is less reliable than a weather forecast 2 weeks out. Things can happen-- injuries, illness, storms, etc. What looks to be an easy LSU win today can transition into something alien on 9/19 6:30 pm

From what I saw on week one, I’ll take the Tigers.
And I am getting points?
I’ll take it.

It is a little odd. Granted they get 3 points for the home game. I think there is some consensus that Clemson is a pretty bad team so the blowout was as impressive.
I can understand this analysis, but to come away from that Louisville game without some questions around OM is crazy. A new QB who struggled big time in the 1st half and OM couldn't score, plus the mistakes that Chambliss made. They didn't look great on either side of the ball.

Agreed and curious if it changes any more. LSU -2.5 tells me Vegas is begging people to take Ole Miss so they can cash in when we win by 3+

I truly don’t understand this. How is Ole Miss favored? It was 1.5 earlier and now 2.5.
I know we are going to Spot the Ball. I’m just more perplexed at what Vegas is doing
after the season starts, future bets aren't refreshed at the same rate.
The current consensus for actual open betting, thats been updated, is lsu is the favorite

LSU -155 on DK ML and only -120 on FD ML, you don’t usually see such a big difference

They are not favored. DraftKings has tigers -3

SEC ref crew is why. I’d bet big on it myself if it were not for that. The SEC will clearly show bias towards Ole Miss. Hopefully the Tigers can beat Ole Miss and the refs. IF Ole Miss wins, I would also be willing to bet that some of those refs will earn their spot reffing the SEC championship game.
