Darius Guice showed some tape from the LSU offense on his Snapchat story today, and it looks impressive. It was actual plays from scrimmage, not just the basic videos of practice that are posted on the home page. 4 different plays. The first was a wheel route which Guice caught 20 yards downfield, followed by maybe a 10 yard run after catch. The second was a read option where Guice was able to bounce it outside for a gain of 10-15. The third was an I-formation like we were used to seeing where he broke a 20+ yard run. The last play was a flat route with a 5-10 yard run after catch. Etling looked to be running the offense in all plays but the last. Definitely different from what we are used to seeing, but I liked it!

snapchat doesn't have a web app. So I don't think thats possible.

The wheel route was the best. Back shoulder throw in tight coverage. Next season is going to be awesome

That's probably the line Buddy has used for 25 years on the waitresses at his remote broadcast

Just watched them...

1st play the Wheel, it's literally all Walk-Ons...pretty simple concept offensively, but better than what we are used to.

2nd play was a fake Read, because the end man was blocked by Malone at LT so Etling was reading nothing. It was a simple zone play that looked as though it's intended to look like we are attacking the middle and Guice bounces it. Both LBers were left free to crash down, then there is a wall blocking on the outside.

3rd play was not I-form. It was 2 Tight Ends to the right side, David Ducre was off in a wing with another TE on the left. When the ball was snapped, the LG pulled and Ducre came across the line of scrimmage to block the end man.

The last "play" was Guice vs Divinity 1v1 during a pass drill

I honestly can't remember the last time a running back actually ran the ball out of shotgun. Holy hell this must be real!

Not going to lie, I didn't study them that closely. Whatever they were, it's a change from what we have seen.

And I'm calling bullshite on your claim that the wheel route play was all walk ons going against Guice. No way you can tell whose in that play because jersey numbers were not easily visible.

Fournettes long run against South carolina was out of the shotgun. Guice had multiple scores out of the shot gun last year

Bama still had like 8 guys in the box with a 3 wr set. Not gonna miss Les's unimaginative offense one dam bit.Oh i met Cam's or whoever had it the last 7 or 8 years

You're right, not walkons. It was incoming Fr and RS Fr. Probably our 3rd string safeties and backers who have potential but won't play this year.

And don't get pissy because you started a post with incorrect information.
