Bama no 1 and Penn State 2. Sorry I hate those plain arse looking duds for both schools.

I was surprised to not see FSU on there, nor Oklahoma.

Yet Oklahoma's uniforms are almost exactly like Alabama's. See Arkansas and Indiana as well.

Also, I thought LSU's colors came from the battle flag under Lee during the Civil War?

"Iconic" does not mean "coolest" or "best", although a lot of people will have them overlapping.

Here's a test: go find color photos of games, with teams lined up before the snap; go back as far as when they changed away from leather helmets.
See if you and your buddy can pic out the teams, no matter what era.

Florida does not belong on that list, and Michigan is the easy #1. I'd put LSU higher, simply because I can't say I've ever seen another team that would fool me into thinking they were the Tigers; while (for example) I might mistake Minnesota for USC.

If Alabama's uniforms didn't belong to Alabama, you'd think it was a div. III uniform...sorry, do not like

those are good points.

how many teams in college football have red/white uniforms? blue/white? Maroon/white? there are too many teams with the same damn colors basically.

LSU is easily the most unique and iconic color combo in the ncaa.

Very true, minus the part about Florida. Not sure who you could confuse them for and I think the script "Gators" is very iconic. Same goes for Michigan, Notre Dame and Texas' uniforms, among others.

Not at all. I have no issues with Alabama. Red and white are boring color combinations. The uniform is boring and plain looking IMO just like all of the other red and white teams that are out there.

"Iconic" is apparently the key in the list. Alabama's uniforms look like the uniform you get for peewee football when you're trying to cut costs. Buy a solid color, iron a number on the front and back...presto!

But the team’s best look is the striking purple top with gold pants and a gold helmet – one of the best kits in all of college football.
