If so, you would have been Captain Obvious. You act like you came up with some mindbreaking piece of information there.

Im not as surprised about cush I really thought Phillips play was down this year and wanted to redeem himself and be the baller on defense he is more then capable of being The Man.... My heart was just set on queen beinng a wrecking ball and Phillips being the brick wall Clark being the freak, I was dreaming I guess

I guess my perception of him being second best freshman on the team behind Taylor, and then a outstanding sophomore year made me over look this year...

Cushenberry will be the easiest to replace.

Cushenberry is a huge leader in our locker room, on top of his stellar play on the field. He was the undisputed leader on the OL.

Easiest to replace my arse.

Taylor had a pretty good year in juco this year. I wonder if now there is a chance that he could come back...

Surprised about Phillips and Cush. It seems a lot of players minds have shifted quickly.

I get that these guys have that sense of accomplishment right now, but man... I thought O was going to get some of these guys to come back..

Damn, going to be a LOT of youth on the defense next year

Not really, its not like we are going to be rolling out a bunch of freshman
Our DL will be 2 returning starters and another guy who has played starter minutes plus some backups who have rotated in

Clark, Baskerville, and Brooks all played a lot this year

Even if stevens leaves Todd Harris returns from injury and all the other DBs have played plenty

Look at this past draft. Just one running back taken in the top 52 picks. Next year is absolutely loaded with talented running backs entering the draft though.

They were probably told about their grades, and the difference in $$$ or signing bonus.

Cush got his degree as well guys. This is similar to Will Clapp who could have came back for a senior year but already had a degree in hand plus Cush has a championship in his belt as well. It all worked out for Clapp at least.

And we know one half of the field is just gone because of Stingley.

I honestly feel bad for Stingley that he has to stay in college 2 more years

He'd be a lock for a first round pick this year.

Ah didn't realize this. Yeah, he's got no reason to return. He's leaving with a degree and on top of the college football world.

Plus, the amount of scouts watching film because of Burrow will be a big boost to him I'm sure.
