All this talk about "rebuilding year" is getting me sort of riled up. So i am sure we, and the Bama fans would LOVE to hear what you think your record will be next year...

When i really think about I see a loss to UF and outside of that the next biggest threat in my mind is OM.
Bama will be breaking in a new QB, Who the hell knows what's gonna happen at the 'Barn, and UGA will likely have a new QB, and Moreno will be gone.
I say we lose 2-3 and lost a tiebreaker to miss out on the SECCG.

Pssst, just in case you missed it, Stafford and Moreno already announced they were coming back.

Moreno will realize he will be the top back in the draft and will enter the draft. Everyone has learned the lesson of Matt Leinart.

I love when the OM fans come out the doldrums........we dominate the series and lose 1 out of every 7 yet they still can try!

That doesn't mean anything until the draft is done with.

4 losses again for LSU next season, sad to say.

Ask us after the bowl games because it all depends on what changes are made to the staff.

are yall forming a coalition to be the worst posting opposing fans on TD?
LSU will continue rebuilding next year(9-3 or 8-4), but 2010 will be SEC Championship caliber!
And as stated above will depend on coaching changes on defense!

Agreed, that it all depends on who is going pro. SEC could be STACKED with Pro Prospects next year, or it could be a down year (if everyone left this year) with a team like LSU/Ol Miss able to take control. (I only say these two because they both have the most coming back)
As for LSU:
No doubt the Def will be more experienced next year, with only T Jackson, Beckwith and C Taylor leaving (Alexander/RJF/Alem (really the starter)/Woods/Nevis all coming back) IMO they have to have gained some confidence and awareness..hopefully get a new D Coordinator, things look bright. Wouldn't be surprised to see Riley move to the middle to make room for Baker on the outside as well as C Jones to move right over into the FS position, with a lot of experience back at the CB/SS positions.
OFF, only loses Herm/Byrd/Johnson and Helms, with Johnson/Helms being the most sorely missed. (Don't get me wrong, The House was DOMINATE, but I think that McCoy can replace him easier than anyone we have replacing Helms.) Tolliver will take over for Byrd, with Benton moving into Tolliver's spot and C Tolliver as our Deep threat. C Scott will be back, and my brother (athletic doctor on the team) has already heard that K Williams is trying to lose 25 lbs before next year. I honestly think that Theriot will be the starting FB next year with the Freshman getting plenty of looks. Full Back is one of the easiest positions to learn as long as they are ready physically.
I really think the future is bight. We'll see how Jefferson is, don't know what it is about the kid, just seems to "Have It", where Lee looked "confused" all the time..time will tell. Thanks for letting me RANT.

I believe we lose Alexander and Pittman.
Unless a leader emerges, and JJ or RS may be just that, and if the DC position stays the same, we are looking at 8-4 again.
If a real DC is named, we could pull off 9-2, but I agree that 2010 will be a banner crop.
This years older players were end of Saban/start if Miles and quite frankly Saban wasn't paying attention (think last play Capital One bowl!) Miles played catch up ball. Miles has put together some excellent classes, so let the grapes ferment and we'll have some fine wine soon.
