I believe you did all those things but none of them address any of the basketball issues you guys have fabricated. You say he had no money yet he landed the 15tb ranked class nationally year 1 and won 2 SEC games despite being picked 6th to 8th in the conference pre season. You say he had no money yet he landed the 16th ranked class nationally and won 3 SEC games last season. Florida’s class last year was ranked 63rd nationally so your excuse is either false or irrelevant and again doesn’t address the real problems which are on the court. You’re really gonna try and convince people that a lack of talent is what caused us to be down 28 points and eventually lose to Nicholls? Stop the nonsense man.

lol what’s the money for? To get the best players. He’s had multiple top 16 classes, has the record reflected that? You’re simply married to a narrative, you don’t even realize what you’re saying and you can’t support what you’re saying anyway.

I’m not saying McMahon hasnt lost some games he should have won. Saban lost to UAB and ULM. Did he suck as a coach? And recruiting rankings are fine but if you’re using your money to get highly rated HS players what are you spending in the portal? It is the increased funding that allowed McMahon to sign one of the top PG in the portal last year. To bring in Sutton and Nwoko while still bringing in a good HS class. Like I said your want for McMahon to fail overrides your common sense. Or lack thereof. Is this not a better team? Is DJ one of the best PG on the SEC right now? Are we turning the ball over like last year? Are we having scoring droughts almost every game like last year. Those were the biggest complaints last year. numbers don’t lie. And the eye test don’t lie. This team isn’t perfect and losing 10 pts and 6 rebounds a game off the bench has affected their depth with the bigs but a coach that won 31 games and a first round tournament game at a good mid major program obviously knows how to coach. And it isn’t a coincidence that the year they acknowledge increased NIL funding he has his best team. And the reason you WANT him to lose is because if he wins then that means you were wrong and you just don’t want to have to admit that. Oh no. We can’t have that happen. And if he loses he gets fired and I’m Ok with that also but as an LSU fan I never WANT LSU to lose.

Comparing him to Saban even at that juncture is laughable. The rankings include transfer portal and this has nothing to do with your straw man or stand in McMahon arguments about wanting him to fail. Your phony excuse making is the issue, don’t substitute yourself for McMahon. 99.99% of us want him to win. The rest of your post is just paper thin nonsense and cope that doesn’t apply to anything. Is DJ the best PG, if you think you know that for a fact at this point in the year that just shows your agenda overrides your reason. Has Reed, a bench player, ever averaged those numbers or even close to that bs SEC competition? No so using them as automatic is more blind wishcastng. Then you go to his record at Murray which is 4th best of their last 6 coaches and use that without context. You put on a decent front but after a line or two you descend into mcmen madness which is always antithetical to reality.

there have been reports that McMahon was underfunded. you cant disprove those reports.

the team seems to have improved, perhaps due to a better budget being able to afford players like DJ Thomas.
