The refs should be suspended. Do the motherfricking play over. Them calling it for K. State is worse than the fricking retard clock operator.

Some dude that works at the resort is probably the clock operator. Game management can be sketchy in these smaller early season destination tourneys.

Thank goodness we didn’t pay $30 for this abortion of a program.

The fricking Cayman Islands Pine Tar Game. What a crock of shite.

What is to stop home teams from fricking with clocks in the future to throw the other team off?
Posted on 11/23/22 at 8:53 pm to Meauxjeaux
How hard would it have been to call it good and give the players another 5 minutes to settle it?
Refs wanted control for a reason.

Yeah, going to need a rules guru to dig through the rulebook on this one.
I understand why the headliners for this tournament were LSU and K State. Amateur hour between the broadcasting paywall, refs, and venue.

Just really an incredible way to lose. We could’ve been much better in the second half but they didn’t deserve to lose like that when they’ve done exactly what they needed to do
Posted on 11/23/22 at 8:53 pm to WaWaWeeWa
Heck no they would not. That’s really lame but on the other hand we played like crap in the second half with turnovers and giving up transition baskets.

THE REFS COMPLETELY BLEW A BLOCK/CHARGE CALL EARLY IN THE SECOND HALF
LSU SHOULD BE GIVEN A VICTORY SINCE A REFS ERROR CAN TAKE AWAY GAME TYING SHOTS. REFS ERRORS ARE APPARENTLY CORRECTABLE!

This is absolutely insane.
The players are working with what they see on the clock. It’s not a home game. The clock operator frick up is part of the game that cannot be reviewed accurately by refs on a monitor.

Ive seen clock operators be off by .01, .03, hell .08 before, and ive never seen this called. So next time they are pff by .02 on the inbounds, we can get a no basket?
It's like the Brad Wing taunting call or the Auburn "jumping on your own man FG" call.
These NEVER happen anywhere else but when it involves LSU.

That’s some BIG time BS.. the players play to the clock they don’t control it.. so the clock operator didn’t start the clock right away on the inbounds pass so the other team loses?… WTF
Posted on 11/23/22 at 8:54 pm to S
I'm sure you could make this call in all kinds of situations in every fricking game.
You telling me the clock operator gets it exactly correct every time?
bullshite. This is part of the game.
I want EVERY last second shot reviewed in every game for every team thus season. No bullshite.

Refs win the Cayman classic, great job they may be a threat in the big dance!
Posted on 11/23/22 at 8:54 pm to SanFranTiger
Alright LSU clock operator, if any team needs a score to win or tie and they have seconds left, just don’t start the clock right away. Boom, LSU wins. bullshite tournament all the way around.

Imagine if this shite happened under Will Wade, he would burn that motherfricker down.
Not that McMahon is handling it poorly but you know Wade would rip these refs a new one

Also, several questionable charges against us. At least 1 negated a 3 point play.

Could the refs determine how long the clock didn’t move? Like what amount of time left would have been good enough?
