Many portal transfers are from mid major schools (not taking anything away from those players but quite frankly some of the portal acquisitions simply can’t be effective at this level).

Not playing the best players and thinking guys have to “pay their dues”. Prime example of this is not playing Corey Chest last year when he certainly could’ve helped.

I won’t change my tune until he gets to the NCAA tournament. Sorry but that was the standard set before he got here.

It’s nice to see him make them but it also worries me a bit, he’s been taking a lot more these past few games. Is that him being confident? Is he coached into taking that shot?

His strength as a player on offense comes from his ability to drive to the paint and make smart passes. It’s nice for him to make a three here and there as a wrinkle but I don’t want this turn into a situation where he’s coached out of playing his best game.

Yea but look if he's making em let him shoot him, we just don't have a consistent 3 pt threat this year

It looks like they been working with him to get a little more air on it which has helped tremendously.

Good to see they're finally pulling away.

That said, this team is going to struggle in SEC play. MM is a terrible coach. He's finally got some decent talent on the roster but you can tell the coaching is subpar, at best. Let's hope the talent alone can win us some games because the coaching won't be doing this team any favors.
