Name your top 10, tell us who you have in the cfp.

I’ve been as critical as anyone about this team, but I don’t think there’s 12 teams better than this team even with as bad as the offense is. There’s been a lot of subpar football played.

12 teams is really almost too many for the playoff.

we absolutely are a cfp team and for one reason, we have a solid defense.

LSU is 16th imo.

75 downvotes comes from people who are offended and take your post as an insult when your completely right. The schedule so far has been easy. Vandy, Bama and aTm are going to curb stomp us because LSU has a weak offensive coordinator.

Thanks for that. So original. Especially for the disgustingly negative comments one finds in this forum.

All we need is a way to 30+ points a game. No one is scoring over 30 on this D

There's most likely never gonna be one of those again, in any season, at any program.

GOAT for a reason.

Defense is top 10. Offense isn’t close to top 25.

Alabama and A&M games will be a real challenge. Vanderbilt and Oklahoma are up in the air, depending on whether or not we show up. Arkansas and WKU should be wins.

Don’t think it’ll be enough for us to make the playoffs. And if we don’t, BK’s seat should be on fire next season.

This year 4 is probably too many. The problem with our fans is they have an idea of what a top 10 team is supposed to look like but can’t understand that top 10 is relative to each season. It’s not linear season to season. With the portal you’re just not going to see the same brand of football you’re accustomed to seeing. Teams can’t build depth anymore. Teams are rebuilt every offseason and don’t really have time to gel. It is what it is. Not a single team in college football is without flaws. For example, the average margin of victory in SEC games has gone down by 5 points since 2024. That’s pretty damn significant. So people really need to get used to seasons like this or you’re going to be really miserable

Then it should be fricking blazing after next year considering what we’re losing. BK better find a damn good QB in the portal

Not only that, but before last season no one really paid that close attention to let’s just say 8-12, simply because they were so far out from making the playoff it didn’t really matter.

Pair that with NIL and the portal, there’s more parity now than ever. Today - you cannot convince me there are 10 teams better than LSU, let alone 12. Same can be said for a lot of teams. Thats why we play the whole season.

SOS - Sagarin (ESPN) Avg

Oh st - 17 (21) 19
Miami - 8 (14) 11
Ind - 30 (17) 23
8&4 - 15 (20) 17
OM - 41 (63) 52
Alabarf - 2 (2) 2
UGA - 10 (8) 9
TTU - 114 (61) Why bother
Or - 33 (26) 29
LSU - 9 (22) 15

LSU has a better resume than 4-6 teams ranked in front of the tigers

I agree and 2019 LSU could have easily lost to Auburn at home.

Playoffs are watered down; don’t need to be that great to get in.
