Just to clarify....Vegas has Lsu in top 10 odds to win it all, but you say that isn't contending.

Completely agree that my hope of 30 plus is a fans take. I put money that BYU covers so that's what I believe. Wouldn't shock many BYU fans to see us get crushed as well

As an interim HC he's won a lot. Not his stint at ole piss.

So sick of the obvious
We should win easily but of course it can be close

But please forgive me for not showering praise upon a guy who failed miserably in his only stint as a head coach and has made a career out of shitting on and recruiting against LSU up until it became his "dream job" before he shows me something of substance.
Not going to happen.
If, in your Coach O hating and bashing mind, if nothing Coach O has done at LSU is of substance, nothing ever will be to you.
You don't think any of this is of substance:
1) Fired Cam Cameron
2) Fired Bradley Dale Peveto
3) Fired Dameyune Craig (recruiting coordinator last class - had a WR committed since the previous year and found out on signing day the guy would not qualify. Not a good WR's coach.
4) Fired Jabar Juluke - RB coach responsible for Derrius Guice going the wrong way and missing out on every RB recruit except one.
5) Extended Dave Aranda.
6) Promoted Dennis Johnson (Meatball) who out-recruited Tom Herman for K'lavon Chaisson.
7) Hired Tommie Robinson RB coach - the nation's #2 rated recruiter for the 2017 class. Has coached in the NFL as well as college.
8) Hired Matt Canada OC - the only Broyles award candidate on the offensive side of the ball last season who had the 9th ranked scoring offense in the country.
9) Hired Mickey Joseph WR - has life long ties to the New Orleans and Louisiana and has been recruiting the area for years.
10) Hired Pete Jenkins DL - Probably the most well known and acclaimed D-Line coach in football - college and pro.
11) Had the #7 ranked recruiting class after being the HC at LSU for 3 months and that was with only 23 signees. Not to mention pulling the #1 ILB, #11 ILB and #11 safety in the nation either a few days prior or on signing day.
Your "Coach O hatred capsule" is about as dim as the rest of your brain.
Everyone can easily see your shtick, IF LSU ran the table and won the NC, you would just change your CEO bashing rhetoric to "wait until he shows me something of substance with his players".
Your stupidity knows no bounds and that continues to proven with every post you make.

Ok this is where you went of the rails. You obviously know nothing about O.

Last year he kept LSUs class together as he finished at an underrated #7 class in the country. I say under rated, well because you'll find out Saturday why I say underrated.
He has a #11 class so for in 2018 with a down year in La. It's the worst La class we've had in a good while. He's known as a strong closer and we have 10 spots left to fill. With a decent year on offense, LSU could easily close in the top 7 to 5.
He turned the USC program around as interim HC, then came to LSU as the DL coach. He proceeded to immediately shore up our DL, and he brought our sack numbers up in his first year, and every year after. After Les Miles was fired he was hired as interim HC at LSU and we proceeded to break offensive records immediately after he was hired. His record as interim was 13-4. The problem LSU had on offense wasn't moving the football, it was getting into the endzone with the offensive scheme we had last year.
We lost to Wisconsin 16-14 by throwing an INT driving while in FG position. We lost to Auburn 18-13 again while driving and in the redzone, throwing for a TD but having it called back. We lost to Alabama 10-0, but the game was tied in the 4th quarter 0-0. Alabama made 2 more plays then we did. We lost to Florida 16-10 again on the goaline about to score but again our scheme wasn't very good in this area. Canada's scheme is perfect for these situations and our defense is much more deep this year to do things we couldn't last year.
Scores before O took over:
LSU 14 Wisconsin 16
LSU 34 Jacksonville State 13
LSU 23 Miss State 20
LSU 13 Auburn 18
Scores after O took over:
LSU 42 Mizzou 7
LSU 45 Southern Miss 10
LSU 38 Ole Miss 21
LSU 0 Alabama 10
LSU 38 Arkanasas 10
LSU 10 Florida 16 turned the ball over 3 times in the Red Zone.
LSU 54 Texas A&M 39
LSU 29 Louisville 9
There was a huge difference in preparedness of LSU once O took over. We moved the football on everyone but Bama with ease, but couldn't score against Florida because of offensive scheme. That will be fixed. The defense in 2016 was good but should be much better in 2017. If LSU does struggle like you are hoping it will likely be for a drive or two and at the most a full quarter or half. LSU only needs a good half to win this game. LSU has the ability to score 30 or more in (1) half easily.
His OM stint as HC didn't go well at all except for the recruiting dept. It's well known that he evaluated talent at a high level while at OM. After he was let go at OM, Houston Nutt took them to the Cotton Bowl 2 years in a row with Orgerons players. Ole Miss was not a great program when he took over plus he knows that he made BIG mistakes in his first HC'n job. He has changed things at his last two interim jobs and was successful so he's taken that to LSU now. From all reports this team is in the best shape it's ever been, and they are more crisp then they've ever been. LSU has more talent and depth then in the last 3 years. There are reasons LSU is confident. These reports are coming from a very cautious media here in Baton Rouge. Good luck BYU.

we had 20 yards of offense in the 2nd half and 1 1st down. once bama scored a td with 13:08 in the 4th the game was over.
bama almost had 3 times as many yards as us and 3 times as many 1st downs. the notion that bama made 2 more plays than us isnt correct. they also had 1 more turnover than us.
with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter bama had 1 less 1st down than we had the entire game.
