Interm HC counts- I'm betting Ed felt that way

No. It doesn't.

LSU is not and will not be a title contender this year.

Yeah, he sucks as a recruiter.
"During Orgeron’s first stint at USC, after being named the recruiting coordinator in 2001, he helped the Trojans to top-five signing classes for three straight years."
"He was named the 2004 National Recruiter of the Year by The Sporting News and Rivals.com."
"When he returned to USC with Kiffin, the school’s first recruiting class ranked No. 3, per the 247Sports Composite."
"In 2011, he was named the Scout.com/FOXSports.com National Recruiter of the Year"
"In 2011 ESPNU/ESPN The Magazine named him the top recruiter in college football (and third best in all of collegiate athletics)"
"In 2012, Sporting News selected him as the nation's No. 2 recruiter and Rivals.com named him one of the nation's Top 25 recruiters."
"Rivals.com ranked him as the second-best recruiter of the previous 10 years (2002-11)."

So I reworked the post but you post about hour later after it's been changed?

You know in principle I agree with OP, but just stop with these threads warning of a letdown or overconfidence. You aren't going to curb fan enthusiasm before the first damn game of the year.

this dumbass attacks the one area where O has proven, multiple times, that he is one of the best in cfb
wow.
wow.

Well damn I could have sworn Vegas had them #7 to win it all? I guess that isn't contending.

Lol you agree with the OP. Lmao. Not shocking I guess.

You can knock Ed Orgeron for a lot of things but recruiting is not one of them.
Let's see what kind of class he ends up with in February before we start in with this. Yes he's been great as a recruiter and DL coach in the past but let's see how he can do as the head guy.

Only in the broadest sense.

He did pretty damn good at recruiting at OM...as the head guy. We get it though, you don't like O.

Yeah his stint there was a resounding success. All I'm saying is let's see how he does here and now with another shot as the head guy before just saying that LSU getting great recruits going forward is a foregone conclusion.

He seems like a decent guy. But please forgive me for not showering praise upon a guy who failed miserably in his only stint as a head coach and has made a career out of shitting on and recruiting against LSU up until it became his "dream job" before he shows me something of substance.

Even though you're a fan man, and I totally get that, even in your wildest dreams is there anyway you think BYU scores 30+ pts vs LSU's D, bruh lol..

It is all talk at this point. Orgeron is good at talk.
