I think youbare underestimating Arkansas, by a lot. They just got their ace back I believe and he is pitching well. Their starting pitching is phenomenal.

Winning 2 of 3 from Arky is more of keeping Auburn off your arse. RPI loves UGA so that is going to be a tough ask. But Arky also has Tennessee the last week so you need that series win to boost all your metrics more than just head to head against Arky but it could come into play.

If LSU is not then who the f*^k is!? The best teams have been beating up on each other every week. I mean hell fire Auburn just took 2 at Tennessee. Mississippi friggin State swept Kentucky. Arkansas swept Texas. Funny thing is though Arkansas had lost series a couple weeks in a row. Arkansas gonna get its arse kicked at LSU next weekend.

This. Everyone sucks on the road. And we legit may have the best road series of the season sweeping Oklahoma. Don’t quote me on that, but I can’t think of anyone with a better road series in the SEC.

If we have 19 wins and series wins va Arkansas and Tennessee I think we get a top 8 seed.
We’d finish top 4 in the SEC there.

The SEC isn't limited to 4 national seeds.
Say we lose 2-1 to Arkansas. Arkansas has a national seed, Texas has a national seed, that leaves 2.
Here are the standings
LSU 15-9
UGA 15-9
Tenn 14-10
Vandy 14-10
Auburn, OU, Bama, Ole Miss at 13-11.
Ole Miss plays Auburn, so one of them cannot get to 19 wins.
Bama cannot finish ahead of a 19 win LSU team.
OU cannot finish ahead of a 19 win LSU team.
In theory, Auburn could win out and be seeded above a 19 win LSU team.
Vandy plays Tennessee, so that eliminates one of those teams from jumping a 19 win LSU team.
The only way a 19 win LSU team is in the slightest bit of trouble is if Auburn wins out AND Vanderbilt wins out, while UGA also goes 4-2.
So technically speaking, yes, LSU needs help if they go 4-2 to close the season out, to get a first round bye in the conference tournament. Regardless, I don't believe a 19 win LSU team isn't a top 8 seed.
