Our pitching was terrific this weekend. They pitch like that we have as good of a shot as any to make it to Omaha.

Micromanaged to death. The shift, which is rarely effective, L v R, R v L, and the never consistent lineups. Taking Hernandez out, who provided 90 % of the offense today was just mind numbingly stupid. 7-8 pitchers used today. I don't think anyone really understands what Johnson is up to half of the time.

my point is that no one follows other teams.
so when we lose a series we the world is crumbling and we’re gonna get swept by Arkansas because they swept texas which makes them unbeatable (despite losing 3 series in a a row including Florida)

yeah I mean we’re on track to finish with 18-19 wins in the SEC and the 2024 team won 19 (would have won 20 I could go on about that and the Scar game and how the seC regular season championship deserves an*)

I’m not so sure about that. It would open the door to give it to another team though. Still a lot of important baseball for a lot of teams to call that a fact.

We are very in danger of not getting a top 8 seed after today. SEC gets 4 of them. Texas and Arky are locks if we do not take the series next weekend. Then it’s us, UGA and Auburn. UGA has the RPI love to take us out. Auburn swept our asses so good luck in that head to in the committee room. We need the Arky series and Arky will come in with a huge pitching edge next week due to TV scheduling and weather delays this weekend. All of their pitching is getting an extra day and we will have Kade on a short week.

i feel pretty good about our pitching. once again they've been good all weekend. the one guy that didn't pitch well is cohan and we know he will be good 90 percent of the time.
id rather have a team that can pitch than a team that can only hit.
were good enough at hitting to win low scoring games and if we face the lower caliber arms we usually score pretty well.
this aggie teams better than their record. I would have took 3-3 versus Tennessee and a and m at the beginning of the year

we need to sweep Carolina and win two against arkansas. if we win 1 against arkansas and sweep Carolina we need some help and a run in sec tournament to get top 8 seed

We could take 2-3 from Arky and they’d still be ahead of us in the SEC. So really going 4-2 over the next 2 weeks, gets a top 8 seed. It doesn’t matter who we get them from.
