LSU Is NOT a Playoff Team/Fournette Will NOT Win the Heisman

What are you guys thinking? Don't you get it? That was the season last night. There is no silver lining on the aspirations of this team. IF Miss. St. beats Alabama next week and IF Henry has a terrible game and IF LSU wins out and IF Fournette goes over 200 in the remaining 3 games and gets to 2000 yards, then there will be/could be a reset on both issues, but that is a lot of "IF's."
Look, it is what it is. Accept it. LSU can still have a very good season, Fournette can break all-time single seasons rushing records for LSU, the team can go 10-1 and play in a great bowl game, and they can build on all of this for next season.
This is not a championship team. But, it is a good team - it might end up being a very good team. But, it is not a championship team.
Did anyone think it would be before the season? Is anyone really surprised?

IF you could only get a grip.
To answer your last question, no I did not see us winning the championship. IF the Bama game winds up being the barrier to that like 2012, it really will suck.
I disagree that Fournette may not win the Heisman. He shows up these next three games and we win them, IMO it's his.

And your narrative will stay the same until we find a coach who will quit his stubbornness to power I against teams like Bama that are built to stop it and maybe call basic simple routes for short gains like they do at Bama and the NFL.

It is a championship team. Just not a championship coached team. Look at it how u will I love Miles but we will be 2nd fiddle till Saban retires period.

Yes. Correct on both fronts. End of story. Prepare for the hate, though.

As far as championship aspirations go, it was. Where am I wrong?
I still think this is a good team and we can have a good season. This is like 2010 where we started 7-0 and got beat by Auburn 24-17 in a game that was not anywhere near that close. Then, the next year we had a really great team. That is what we are looking at here.

Good morning Tiger Fans,
As I tweeted at the end of last night’s game, there are no two ways about it: LSU was handed a good ole fashioned butt kicking by an Alabama team that dominated in every aspect of the game en route to a 30-16 win. Alabama outplayed LSU on offense, defense, and special teams, and their coaching staff had the better game plan. In a lot of ways, the game was reminiscent of the 2011 National Title game, and that made it especially hard to watch.

So in the case that he's right (which I'd peg at about 90%) what will that make you?

Fournette won't win the heisman, but frick off. Making it to the playoff is far from impossible

Then what do I do with these extra tickets?
If bama drops another game and we win the west, ... my mind will be blown. Ya know, because the season is over now right ??

He nailed it. LSU will get a bowl game with a decent B1G team though.

And we'll probably lose.

And life will go on. We will all be back next season pulling for the Tigers just as hard!
