IMO with the way that Les and co recruit and builds up depth, this team will consistently be in the playoffs and poised to make runs. If Cameron can deliver a balanced offense then we'll definitely be a team to watch out for once 2014 rolls around.

I don't know, his teams seem to fade down the stretch.

Cam Cameron is the real deal, and he will make LSU a real titan as long as he is there.

Given how strong the SEC is (especially the west) it will be equally as difficult as the current system. I hope they move to an 8 team playoff.

LSU's offense will excel in direct proportion to Les Miles' uninvolvement. The more authority CC has, the better and more threatening our offense.

I agree with the excellent recruitment of studs and quality fb players/athletes..

You're right. Those numerous three and outs by the LSU offense takes a toll on the defense late in the season.

Good for the sec. Going to be hard to have an undefeated sec team every year. And would almost gaurantee 2 sec teams in every year. Only thing that sucks is the loser of sec championship game may get screwed over and left out more often than not. But at the same time, the winner of the seccg may end up playing rematch on the way against an sec team they already beat.

Euther way, there will still be complaining. But in 2006 LSU could have easily made it through a play off scenario.

God... there could be a scenario like 2011 where we lose seccg instead, and bana makes the playoffs over us. But everyone would call us whiners.

Whose teams? If ur talking Les, than not every year. 2005 no, 2006 no, 2007 no, 2008 was up and down all year. 2009 is a yes, 2010 is a no, 2011 can be argued, but i dint call being undefeated sec champs fading, i call the team as a whole nit showing up the last game. 2012, passing offense got better, passing d faded.

Me too. With baseball going on, I have not really thought about football much. Do think we will have a very good team this year, and going forward.

It's gonna come down to a similar scenario to the NFL. Who's healthy and who's hot late.

I agree, but the current playoff system may not be built for LSU. As long as there's a committee involved and only 4 teams, I have little confidence in the selection being based strictly on who the top 4 teams are; they'll try to get representation from multiple conferences.
